Hi! Betsy, What very beautiful photographs of you and your baby. (Your baby 18 years ago, but I'am quite sure that he still and will always be your...)to share with your readers. Happy Birthday! to your son Taylor, and may you and your family have a safe and pleasant Fourth of July weekend. (As we celebrate Taylor's fireworks!) By the way, I know what rabbit left the fur?... Nugget?!?
The picture of you bringing him home is so great and you still pretty much look the same. Taylor has changed though. It is hard to believe sometimes how times flies. In a few weeks my youngest will be 32, but then a few weeks after that I will be 18 again. Just kidding, but my mom says she 39 and holding. We give up. Birthdays are special days and since you get fireworks on Taylors to celebrate than he really gets a celebration.
Thank you for sharing. And have fun with the cake tonight.
Clear memory huh of the day one's child is born after so many years -try 42 years and yes, that day is still clear as a bell in my mind. My first was a week late in arriving too and darned if she isn't still late for EVERYTHING still! Pushes that envelope to the max, she does! The other two though -right on time arriving and usually fairly punctual now as well. Loved the post and pictures here.
Jill ~ his girlfriend sneaked over this morning before he was awake and decorated his car. She asked me last night if I could put his garage door up for her. So he arrived this morning in a cloud of streamers and ribbons. I'm sure the kids loved it! :)
booooohooooohoooooo...do they have to become legal adults??? do they have to grow up? better than the alternative...sigh...happy bday to your son...you are as beautiful today as you were 18 years ago!!
Happy birthday Taylor! You have a great beautiful mother. May happiness be yours! aha..mmm and a nice girlfriend too, just learned it a second ago. Bravo:)
And your baby's all grown up and handsome, and you look just the same, just as lovely, apart from your hairstyle. Don't know how you do it, but you do!
A special day indeed! And, I love that first photo of the two of you, so sweet!
ReplyDeleteFunny how clear the day our babies were born can be 18 years later.
