Sour Cream Coffee Cake

I baked this coffee cake and took it in to The Mister and
his coworkers today. The plate came home empty!
I did sneak a small sliver just to make sure it was good!
Very yummy and moist!

  1. I think I'd do the streusel part with no nuts...think it would work?

Once when we lived in NJ I took cookies to Bunco and just in case other people didn't like nuts in their cookies I took with and without. I made little placards and labeled them 'boys' and 'girls'.

Am I allowed to say that here? Sometimes I live a little on the wild side...but that's about the wildest I get.

  2. It's beautiful. You drizzle quite nicely! And, how thoughtful to deliver a treat to hubby and coworkers. The men we love need those actions of thoughtfulness.

  8. One of our very favorites around here. Is there anything more delicious? Glad you got to sample a few bites. It can be quite a safety hazard getting between office people and a cake.

  21. OMG that looks amazing! So sinfully delicious!

I have all boys, too, so I know what it's like to swim in a sea of testosterone on a daily basis.

My best friend has four girls, so we made a deal to swap kids when we felt we needed a dose of the opposing hormone.

    Looking forward to reading more,

  24. Betsy,
I made your sour cream coffee cake. De-lish as Rachel Ray would say. This recipe is a keeper.
It is now referred to as Betsy's Sour Cream Coffee Cake.

Jack loved it. Had some for dessert last night after dinner.
