One of the nicest things about the change in seasons is
the change in food! Although I love my comfort food
of the winter, there is something wonderful about
the freshness of spring foods!
I agree. I'm always ready for some lighter fare when the weather starts to warm.
ReplyDeleteI haven't grilled any asparagus this season. I should do it soon, so easy and delicious.
So Good! Isn't the flavor wonderful?
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of camera do you have? your pictures are so good.
ReplyDeleteWe have been having asparagus lots here at my house lately...it is a favorite for everyone.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I'm enjoying the changing of the seasons and the foods that come along with that.

ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of asparagus. Hated it when I was little, but I tend to find a place for it in almost everything I cook.
ReplyDeleteOH this is OUR latest obcession too! We add a bit of grated Parmesian cheese toward the end of cooking. We crave these! We also put sliced fingerling potatoes, Cauliflower, green beans and carrot slices along with this for a great combination! My husband loves Parsnips this way too.
ReplyDeleteWe do this in the oven at 400° for 15-20 minutes! This is great all winter long too!
Mary Ruth ~ that sounds delish! Thanks for the ideas...I will definitely try the other veggies and a little parmesean! Yum!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I made last night with some grilled steaks! Delish!

I adore asparagus! I've been broiling it in the oven after sprinkling it with olive oil and Mrs. Dash, and then the last few minutes sprinkling on seasoned bread crumbs and parmesan cheese ... so delightful!
