Harry's Hang-up

This is what Harry's plate looks like every day after supper.
Want to take a guess at what that blob of squishy stuff is?
It's the skins from his grapes. Can you believe that? What a talented boy to chew a mouthful of grapes,
swallow the flesh and have a neat little wad to
lay back on the plate.
I'm guessing he does the same thing at school.
At least he doesn't bring the wad home in his lunch box!
Sigh.....eyes rolling. :)

  1. Too cute. I thought it was a little piece of bacon. I have missed your posts and I hope to catch up with everyone. I need to break for a while from so much work. Too many hours a day of work has been taking a toll and I needed to get back to blogland. I pray you are doing great in this new year. luv ya, Trish

  3. Harry did a good job on finishing everything, so I guess a few skins aren't bad and he put them back neatly. Nice dishes!

  4. I've got a big smile on my face. I can imagine from the wry way you wrote that last sentence that in the past you have found lots of things the triplets brought home with them.

  5. I just love your site. Yours and my sister Bobbi's are my favorite because they always make me laugh. You both have such wonderful attitudes about life and everything. I also love Harry's hang-up because we all have some kind of hang-up, we just don't always show our's like the boys do or like my nephew does, but that's what makes them special and wonderful. Thank you for sharing this.

  8. Hmmmmm, maybe, since you are his loving mom, you should PEEL his grapes FOR him!!!!

    Okay....I truly AM kidding!

  9. Hmmm ... yes, I would say that DOES take talent! I'm sitting here trying to imagine just how he'd do that :) BTW - LOVE the name Harry. It sounds royal :)

  10. Stevie & MG ~ no, I didn't mean to imply other weird things come home in the lunch box. I'm just surprised the skins don't stay in the box.

  12. My sis does that with apples, kind of peels off little bits of skin with her teeth and leaves them on the plate, ewwww, grose! To do it with grapes seems like a lot of work, I think I would just not eat grapes! i guess harry's royal name goes well with this, though, weren't peeled grapes supposed to be for royalty? I suppose they had people to do it for them. Wouldn't it be funny if the people did it with their teeth? Harry could get a job as a royal grape peeler!

  13. Rosezilla ~ you know, I have some extended family members that do this with apple skins or tomato! Maybe it's in the genes. But they are a little more civilized about that Harry. Yes, that would be funny if he peeled them with his teeth before eating....a little tedious! He just prefers chewing and chewing until that is all that is left!

  14. Note to Ronda, I enjoy Betsy for the same reason as you, great attitude and fun person.
Harry's plate, pretty smart i'd say and much less work than peeling them.
I cleaned out aquarium yesterday also, always glad when that job is completed.

  15. Nanny ~ wow...we have happy fish now! :) It really doesn't take much time and looks so nice when it's done, I don't know why I procrastinate so much when it comes to cleaning the aquarium!

And thanks for your kind words! You are so encouraging! :)

  19. Wasn't it a young Cary Grant who was asked by Mae West to peel her a grape? Maybe Harry's been watching Turner Classic Movies! :)

  20. haha...I have to do that myself with certain things as I cannot digest the peel

  21. More power to Harry !

I have lots of free time, maybe peeling grapes before I eat them would be a good idea.

You could start a new blog called "Harry's Way"
    Thanks, for sharing. Hugs~~~~
