I know today is a big and important day for all Americans, but even here in Europe we will be watching the inauguration of your new president. So have a happy inauguration day Betsy.;)
I pray they will get plenty of rest and relaxation. This has been a difficult time and I am glad it seemed to be such a smooth transition. I didn't expect anything less from Laura and George. I believe they are classy people. That's a great pic of them.
This pic reminds me the pic of Ronald and Nancy Reagan as they ended his presidency. It was on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine, I think, and the caption was "Happy Trails"!
I adore Laura Bush, she looks so kind and full of wisdom. Did you see the elder Barbara Bush yesterday at the inauguration? She looked so cute I just wanted to hug her!!
