Such beautiful pictures! I love blue also. Purple's my favorite, but it's got blue in it. That little bird is a cutie. I pray you are doing good. You come to my mind at times during the day and I pray for you!
The blues are absolutely REFRESHING! We have had a bluebird in our woods...and I love to see him swoop through the glen! Those flowers are so delicate and beautiful!
Strider ~ 5 gallons? That would make one huge pie! :) I'm sure you are stocking your freezer, right? You'll have to let me know what your wife does with them. yummy!
Oh, God! Betsy, you just killed me! You have pierced my heart with a blue dagger and here I am, lying down, back against the wall, supine and defeated.
Blue is my all-time favourite colour (I am also partial to black and grey, but that's by the by). And I have just returned from the sea with my family. My wife and I took our ten-year-old and seven-year old on a little jaunt to the seaside and we had a fab time. The sea wasn't blue, mind, it was rather murky, nonetheless I LOVE the colour blue. Simple as that. And I LOVE those photos you posted.
Betsy, I think those first two comments are spam --I had the first one say the same thing on my blog and the link was to a loan web site. I deleted it and I put my "word verification" thing back on my blog because of this.
I love the color blue second after green. It's funny, but I was going to do an "all blue" post last week and then my son called to tell us they were having a boy and I wrote about that! I still have the blue post in my blog edits! I'll have to post it someday.
Pat ~ yes, I thought so to and didn't click on them because of that. It probably would be smart to delete them so nobody else does either...didn't think of that!
Yes, you will be buying a lot of blue for that baby! :)
Ohhhh, that blue bird is gorgeous. I'll be back to check out more of your blog when I get the time later. Came here from Lavinia's blog, congrats on your award.

ReplyDeleteJust lovely. I especially like the blue bird of happiness and the blue-and-white tile. Isn't it funny how looking at blue doesn't make you feel blue?
ReplyDeleteLavinia ~ yes, isn't that interesting that blue can mean sad....it doesn't make me sad to look at it. :)
