Betsy, I've been hearing lately about the way that many honeybees are mysteriously disappearing, so its heartening to see that the honeybee is finding a sweet home 'Down Betsy way'. Your garden is obviously a welcome haven for them.
Lavinia and Pat~ yes, I've heard that bees are scarce and there is a concern for the pollination. I'm not sure why we have so many....we have a lot of butterflies, too.
Bees sometimes take over our yard to the point of being a nuisance. This year they have not!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the floral photography!
Good Sunday Morning Betsy...I see those big ole Bumble Bees....they do make quite a hum...doing some good pollenating there...
ReplyDeleteGood morning,
ReplyDeleteYour buzzing bee photos are beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear the bees are alive and well after last year's scarcity and fear of their being hit with a fearsome virus!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday!
What kind of bushes are those? I have some like that, but haven't been able to discover their name.
ReplyDeleteGlasers ~ hi..thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteDeedee ~ Happy Sunday to you, too!

ReplyDeleteLora ~ these bushes are Spirea. They bloom all summer and grow like weeds. Ours have been here about 10 years and are huge!
