  2. Mmm~ That's funny...we must have crossed in cyberspace over the country! :) Yes...enjoy your curry...it's good for you!

  3. Now, just to find curry!I'm certainly not going to make it! Too challenging.

  4. I bought some blueberries yesterday. I love tomatoes and curry...but not together.

  5. Mmm ~ I'm not a big curry fan. Willow does make a delicious chicken salad that has a little curry in it. You could just sprinkle a little on your meat when you grill it...chicken or fish. I think the key would be to remember that a little goes a long way.

  6. Steviewren ~ I love tomatoes, too...the garden ones are still a ways away up here. Enjoy your blueberries! :)

  7. All delicious! I eat all frequently except for the kale and collard greens. I substitute broccoli and broccoli rabe.

  8. Pat ~ good for you eating most of the things on the list. I put kale in our garden for the first time...actually for our pet rabbit, but I think I'll through a few leaves in our salads, too!

  9. Gorgeous photo, the raspberries look scrumptious!

Upon reading your list I fear I have some major diet expansion to do.

  10. MG ~ I think it's just our nature to happily eat the fruits. I did notice over the winter that one of those Dole salad bags of ready to serve mixed green contained dandelion greens!

  11. Betsy, I had heard about the health benefits of most of these foods, but not curry (by the way, I love it). So, one more reason to indulge my love of Indian Food. Thanks for this list.

  12. Betsy, you have listed some delicious foods for us and so good for us too. The curry is great. I love it with baked chicken in a couple of cans of cream of mushroom soup, put some sour cream and the curry and put the whole thing over rice. Oh so yummy! I wish I would just eat healthy. Why do I dip into the fattening things I have no business eating?

  13. Nanatrish~ your Chicken Curry sounds yummy! Yes, the fattening things we have no business eating...it's because they taste so good! :)

  17. Yeah for Blackberries. My two bushes have blooms on them and some berries in red not yet black.

    Your berries are beauties.

I enjoyed your photography as I usually do.

I have been thinking why people choose to shoot pictures from here and not from over there.

And what do they think about before and while they press the shutter.

Odd things to think about but it is akin to what do barking dogs sound like in different nations.

Thanks for your visit to my blog and for the comment there. I do my best to repay visits with visits and comments with comments.

  19. Abe ~ thanks for the visit! I'll look forward to pics of your blackberries! If we don't keep munching on our raspberries, there won't be any left to bake with!

  20. Rebecca ~ yes, I do to....although I must admit that I don't usually buy or eat bok choy or watercress.

  21. I love chicken curry. My version is made with coconut milk and served over basmati rice. I have been thinking about cooking that all day. The last time I cooked it I could smell curry every afternoon when I returned from work and opened the front door. Delicious smell!
