Another Snowy Day

"When piped a tiny voice hard by,
Gay and polite, a cheerful cry,
Chick-chick-a-dee-dee, a saucy note!
Out of sound heart and merry throat."
~~Ralph Waldo Emerson

  1. Those little birds demonstrates God's beauty and song, don't they? I've always been fascinated with birds. When my children were small we produced a family of little white finches. They were a wonderful object lesson to my two children of the creation of life. Since then I have had other sets of birds. For various reasons, I've uncaged them and yet there were some that returned to the cage to a known world. Sounds like human nature to an extent. What abilities we've been blessed with are only caged by our fear of the unknown. Oh soul, free thyself and become all that you were meant to be.
Thanks again for sharing, my sweet Betsy.
    Hugs, Uncle Tom

  2. Chickadees are my favorite birds. They are so cheerful, brave, and friendly in the midst of the coldest winter.
