aw, I love it! so cute! But I imagine the worm has a decidedly different opinion!! haha
he looks a little irritated, doesn't he? hahaha

haha...well, it has to last until June 5th, right? Poor little guy will just have to hold on or wrap around the dandelion root like Magpie said! hahaha.
Cute, cute, cute! I love the stories that your drawings tell. That little bird reminds me of a certain little determined toddler that I happen to know...
haha...oh, but she is much cuter! :)
A very cute interpretation!

This is so cute Betsy, makes you think about all the stuff that grows underground!
thanks Christine! Can't wait to see what you did!
Love the artwork! Very creative, but, I like the bird should be underground with the worm pulling at it instead! hahahaha
Rooting for the worm? haha. You know, when I was a little girl, I carried worms around like they were my pets! ha.

Very cute, indeed. I love the look on the worm's face. :-)
me, too...that's my favorite part! haha.
oh, cute interpretation! I was thinking you might do underground for some reason. Well done! TY!~In answer to your comment about "10 days", being that i won;t get to it until after grad.....Well, of course, Betsy, the graduation is on Saturday and that leaves me only two days -- Sunday and Monday --efore the following tuesday, May29th, so June 5th works better. I don;t want to rush this and have only just begun drawing it out.No worries already posting it. The link will still show up on Tuesday, for anyone that has not visited prior to then. TY for your contribution!
yes, saw this on your blog. Was only teasing, of course...didn't realize you were going to spend more than two days on it! :)
It is a wonderful drawing.
thanks, Larry...it was meant to bring some laughter, so I think I've accomplished that goal! haha.
Aww, such a cute picture! ~Aidyl
thanks aidyl...so fun to do!
I was right about the worm's face....CheersLinda :o)
haha...yes..yes you were! :)
Excellent! I pulled out a dandelion the other day and I think the roots were over 3 feet. If only my tomato plant would grow like that.
the roots always break before I get the whole thing out! Wow..that is very long!
That's a great drawing Betsy. It's funny, I was just trying to take a picture of this little bird snagging a worm from the grass today, but was not the quickest camera in the east so I just got the bird after he hopped onto the driveway…but here I have that scene:) Thanks
Now that is a shot that I have not captured with my camera, but it would be fun to try! I love seeing Robins with their heads cocked, listening for worms! let me know if you ever get that shot!
You really made my day. Thanks for sharing a piece of your life. You've got an amazing blog. More power to you:-)
thanks, tea. :)
