Looks like sunshine in a jar, doesn't it?
I used the recipe that came in the Certo box for cooked fruit.
I bought 50 pounds of peaches, so I've been busy the last two weeks
canning, freezing, grilling and making ice cream
out of peaches! Yum.
♥
Mmmmm! You'll be having a taste of summer for months.
ReplyDeleteI've already been dipping into the first jar. haha.
Delete50 pounds!!!! Wow, you have been busy and yes it does look like sunshine in a jam, yummo!! So good to hear from you, I missed you!
ReplyDeleteI have been! But it's gone really fast! The preserves are my favorite, I think....slather those on a scratch made buttermilk biscuit and I'm in heaven. haha. Thanks for missing me. :)
DeleteOh...I LOVE that new header! And, YES!, those peaches do look like sunshine in a jar. Thank you for sharing about the recipe. ~wink~ And that new profile picture ....I love it!
ReplyDeleteLet me know if you make some! :)
DeleteThey look amazing . . . Farmhouse Art :)
ReplyDeleteAnd won't they be tasty this winter.
Have a sweet day,
Connie :)
Farmhouse art...I love that. :)
DeleteThey are beautiful! Watch out for the little frog statue in the back. :) He is totally about to spring to life and swipe a jar!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like it, doesn't he? haha
DeleteFifty pounds? Sounds like a lot of work.
ReplyDeleteLove the new header, by the way.
It was a lot of work...but the fun kind of work.
DeleteThanks....that shamrock header was getting a little old. haha.

Up to my neck
Deletebut what the heck.
Almost done

Mmmmm. You have a way of making the tastiness of the peaches come through in your photo.
ReplyDeleteThat sun hitting those jars was so pretty! Just had to take a picture!
DeleteThey do look lovely in the sunshine! I looked at the Peach truck schedule and they don't come close enough to us. I have a friend that will drive to Susquehanna Orchards and get our bushel baskets of Peaches in August.
ReplyDeleteYum! Then you'll be busy!
DeleteLooks beautiful and I bet it tastes yummy.
ReplyDeleteBest peaches ever! But they're from Georgia, so I expect them to be wonderful!
DeleteSo that's where you've been . . . lol
ReplyDeleteDelicious . . . looks so full of life and health . . bet it tastes good . . . :)
Yep, I've been busy! Fun to do, though and keeps me out of trouble. lol.
DeletePerhaps I should make some, then . . . lol
DeleteHi Betsy - I saw the last phrase and thought you were out of peaches ... well you were - but only that you'd finished that batch; well done ... and they look so good ... delicious too - cheers Hilary
