Don’t criticise yourself. It never helps. And try not to criticise others. That doesn’t work well either! However, let’s be honest here; I am one of the untidiest people in the world. That’s not criticism that’s honesty. And I try to live with untidiness. Most of the time it’s OK. The Chef says it’s fine. I don’t know Louise Hay but I’ll take the Chef's advice.
So very true Betsy. I've gone down that road, and found it to be a dead end of sadness. If God made us in his image...and cares for the birds of the air...then I have to believe I am valuable. Thanks for a good word of encouragement this morning. Hugs.
So very true. We can be so hard on ourselves, only seeing our flaws or believing the negative things others would have you believe. It's a deep pit to crawl out of if you've been there for years. We all need to be kinder to ourselves, I think!
Hi Betsy - sadly so true for many of us ... yet we all know we're perfectly good and able to cope. It's when we need to be gracious as we adjust in life ... then accept gracefully ... I reckon you be doing pretty well!! Life can knock us though ... yet we know we're lucky ... keep the positivity forward facing ... take care - cheers Hilary
Yes, that is very true. But occasionally someone toxic can get into your head and after years of it you start to believe it! Thanks about the mug. I have several, and as a coincidence, they have positive words on the fronts. :)
I'm pretty good about not criticizing myself. I had the right role models I guess. But we can all succumb a little from time to time. Hugs to you. (((((xo)))))
I like the way Louise Hay thinks. Let's give it a try!
ReplyDeleteAnd Dianna....your sweet note about Pepper came in the mail.
DeleteThank you so much. Seriously. I appreciated that a lot. :)
You are so welcome, Friend. I know how my heart hurt when we lost our Border Collie and I just wanted to offer a bit of comfort. xo

If you think it's find and the Chef thinks it's fine, then it's fine! haha.
DeleteHonestly I think I’d prefer to be tidy
