Spring officially arrives later this week!
Here in Ohio, Spring and Winter are trading days...sometimes hours...
as to who is in and who is out. Warm then cold, cold then warm.
Today will be warm. Tomorrow will be snow.
I guess it's time to take the vintage sled off the front porch.
Probably not smart to put the snow shovel away just yet.
♥
Our winter had a really mild start, but now we seem to be getting a big storm every week or so. Isn't spring supposed to be arriving in a couple of days?
ReplyDeleteYes, it is! We're getting ours tonight. The boys' day program is already cancelled before the snow comes. haha. Guess they really think it's going to happen!
DeleteHi Betsy - you've had your fair share of winter this year ... but I have to say - I'm glad it wasn't here! Love your lady and her delightful resting ?robin - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI smile every time a bird lands on her head! haha.
DeleteA flip and flop
ReplyDeleteIt can just stop
Crummy old snow
In no more ditches I wish to go lol
Were you in a ditch?
DeleteThat must have been a b*tch.
Or are you just kidding me
on your rhyming spree?
Been there 4 times or so
DeleteOh where a **** vehicle will go
I can't believe that
Deletefrom the Pat.
Must be extra slick this year
for you to do that front to rear. lol.
It sounds like weather is crazy world wide. Here in the UK we had a high of 14C last Friday followed by snow on Saturday and yesterday with temperatures down to 4C and a wind chill that felt like -10 !!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly how it's been here! Cold and warm keep taking turns!
DeleteSnow predicted for us on Wednesday, here in Kentucky. It has been a strange season!
ReplyDeleteSnow for us, too! Had a little ice this morning!
DeleteAlmost...but not quite. Snow tonight, rain/freezing rain and anywhere from 3-12 inches more Tuesday night through Wednesday night. Loved the picture of you and Spencer. I didn't realize how much he looks like you until I saw that picture.
ReplyDeleteEveryone is saying that about Spencer and me but we here in the family just don't see it! haha.
DeleteThe brown eyes is all that we can see that he got from me. lol.
We are going through the same thing in Michigan, but at least we know winter is on the way out!
ReplyDeleteI love the picture!
That's right...it won't last forever! I did get to see my daffodils bloom! But I swear...every single year they bloom and then get covered in snow or ice. Same thing this year!
DeleteNice shot and glad Spring is coming. The plants are rather dizzy because we had a warm spell, then the iciy beast with snow, then warm again and lately another blast of snow which has since thawed. prediction is snow again for Easter . . . bought the kids a sledge . . . :)
ReplyDeleteWe almost always have cold weather for Easter! Not always snow, but I wouldn't be surprised this year...lol.
Delete"Sitting Pretty"....what a lovely shot. Running late these days, spending less and less time on the computer, except to do the practice DMV tests, as my license expire May 1...Yikes, the rules and laws changed a lot in the past five years. Hope you are having a great day. Hugs
ReplyDeleteWell, me too...less and less time. And that isn't a bad thing, really. Best of luck on that test.
DeleteYou must be having to take a written one? Ugh.
It's been snowing here for several hours today and I think there's probably 4 or 5 inches out there now. This is crazy! My daffodils have already bloomed and I was out in shorts and a t-shirt a few weeks ago! I hope this is happening at your house, too, since you've been wanting snow all season long lol. Hope you're having a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteMarla
We are not having that weather and I am so jealous! haha. My son in PA got 10 inches this week. I guess it's all around us and not here.
DeleteI ended up with 8 inches of snow! The temps were in the 40's today and are supposed to be in the 50's tomorrow so it won't last long. Thank goodness!
DeleteLovely photo of yiur lady and the robin.Spring right around the corner.😎
ReplyDeleteYes it is! The Robins are saying, "Bring it on!" The want some
Deleteworms to eat. haha.
I love it when birdies land on GG's head. Seems the perfect resting place.
ReplyDeleteWeather here is crazy, too. Mother Nature wants to keep us guessing!
