I snapped these photos today from my kitchen desk
and they were just too cute not to share!
I immediately thought of the Henry David Thoreau quote,
"I once had a sparrow alight upon my shoulder for a
moment, while I was hoeing in a village garden,
and I felt that I was more distinguished by that
circumstance than I should have been by any
epaulet I could have worn."
I hope you are enjoying the Christmas season
and the last few days of 2017! Sending love
and good wishes to all my blog friends!
♥

DeleteI fell in love with this shot when I saw it on face book. For the first time, as I am typing this I see a little bird making a nest in a pine tree outside our upstairs apartment window. I'm so excited. I hope I can get a picture, as she just flew away. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to see that bird fill her nest and raise her babies! So fun to watch the story from beginning to end!
