That does look yummy. I love peach cobbler for breakfast. When we have peaches fresh off the tree I make the filling, put it into a ziplock that is in the bowl I will bake it in and freeze that shape. After there are no more fresh fruit I can pull that bag out of the freezer, make the topping and have cobbler in the winter. Oh my is that wonderful. I am going to be thinking cobbler all day!
Peach cobbler for breakfast sounds wonderful. I made peach pancakes over the weekend and they were really good!
I was just reading about freezing pie filling in the shape of the pie plate...then you make the crust and put the frozen filling in the shell when you're ready to bake. I think I'll try that. Do you have trouble with the fruit turning brown after it's been in the freezer? The fear of brown peaches in a winter pie have made me hesitate trying it.
With the sugar and I think my recipe has a touch of lemon juice they look fine. I cook the cobbler filling then cool and bag it up and have never had brown peaches. Peach pancakes, yummy! This is such a good eats time of year.
Gosh, I've just seen this before I go to bed. I really will have sweet dreams . . . ha. :)
