Hi Betsy - she's amazing and I'm sure will nurture her jade plant (crassula) ... but wonderful little container - a delight. Bertie is very happy on his own! But he was a he!! He just disappears ... but that's his life ...cheers Hilary
I can see how one could spend hours to talk with this cute plant holder and the plant itself :-) ps: so great Alex is happy and smiling lately, do you know what makes him so cheerful? :-)
Well, Alex's favorite aide at the day program is back in his room. I don't know if that is the reason or not, but he was sad when she worked in another room for the last year. :)
I inherited the talking to the plant gene from my grandmother. :) She had two swan planters...a white one and a blue one...and she always talked to them more than the other plants, but she did talk to all of them. I tell people that is why my violets always do so well. They think I'm joking. haha I love your sweet bird planter!
Aw, that's so cute! :) I always ask them if they are thirsty before I water them. There have been scientific studies that show plants respond well to kindness and show signs of stress when abused or subjected to violence. Incredible, really.
HI Betsy.... Cute planter! I have acquired a few vintage planters over the winter, and I want to get a few succulents and violets for them. Enjoy your long weekend.... Cheers! Linda :o)
And does it help them grow? ;) Cute container!
ReplyDeleteWell, absolutely! :)
DeleteOh, that's so sweet! Makes me smile. I bet that succulent is very happy to be perched in such a cute "pot."
ReplyDeleteIsn't she sweet? She's supposed to hang...see the little holes? I need to find a good spot for her. She'll look like she's flying! hahaha
DeleteAwww - that is so cute!
ReplyDeleteIsn't she? Aw. I had to have her. :)
