A Sweet Surprise

I went to an auction Thursday and spent today going through
boxes of things that I brought home.  In the last box at the very
bottom, this little kitty was waiting for me!
Now, how perfect is that?

    2. What fun! A stowaway in a teapot... gives me a great idea for a children's book. I have been penning a few here and there.

  8. I love it Betsy!! I collect little china dogs myself. When I started about 15 years ago they were very reasonable at a dollar or two but now they are up to $10. I guess I made them trendy!:)

  9. A collectors item no doubt. If it has "Wade, England" on the bottom, it is a Wade Whimsy and is worth a lorra money! They are selling like burnt cakes on eBay for about £0.99 ($1.27). You lucky devil, you always come up trumps!

    1. It doesn't have any makers mark. I guess that means it's only worth .27 haha.
