Simply breathtaking ! Those are the happiest of flowers, an entire field full of them, what be more uplifting :) Thank you for making my Saturday full of sunshine.... ~Jo
Oh my goodness, this is stunning! We have sunflowers here in Texas too but not near us. I've found myself nearly running off the road before trying to look at them. :)
Betsy, they are so beautiful!!! I LOVE it. Would I live close to such a beautiful sunflower field I would also go there to recharge my batteries :-) sorry for not having been around lately school starts tomorrow and we have been already thrown into huge confusion and chaos ... lol so not much time to visit ...
You just need to go ahead and plow up the back yard... carve out a portion for an enlarged veggie garden, and plant the rest in sunflowers, complete with pathways and birdbaths.
That is a ton of sunflowers indeed As they sure take seed All in full bloom at play With quite the brightening display What do people do? Walk along and take in the view?
We were on that road after church this morning. If I had known where the field was, we could have driven up a little more north before turning west. I will have to remember the next time. The amount flowers is simply breath taking.
Quite Magnificent . . . I am used to seeing one or two planted by the kids, but a multitude of them is fabulous . . :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that fun? It's impossible to drive by and not stop! haha.

Yes, it's just for looking at.
DeleteIf you pick you might get attacked.
Maybe that's why all the bees are there
just to say Beware! lol...
I wish it were my backyard too. You have taken some beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteI'd sure enjoy looking at that all the time! The neighbors sure are lucky!

ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that you are even in Ohio! This is on Rt 68 just north of Yellow Springs.
DeleteMight be a fun road trip tomorrow or next Sunday!
DeleteI remember seeing the photos when you wrote about it last year; such a spectacular sight, and I'm sure it's even more impressive in person.
ReplyDeleteYes...much better in person! The breeze blowing the petals, the buzz of the bees. Very fun!
DeleteSunflowers make me smile too....beautiful farm.
ReplyDeleteIf I had a farm, I'd seriously do this!
DeleteSunflowers are just amazing.
ReplyDeleteThose fields full would be a sight to behold.
I do love your photos. Hope you are enjoying your holiday.
We did have a nice holiday weekend! Hope you did, too!
DeleteThey are so beautiful with their natural yellow colors and great textures. Makes you want to grow your own farm field of them.
