Where Did I Put My Coffee Cup?

Have you ever set your coffee cup down and couldn't find it later?
Most times, mine is in the microwave and I don't remember
until that evening when I'm making dinner and find it accidentally!
Yesterday morning I had my first cup and got up to get the boys
ready for the bus.  After they were gone, I looked through the
entire house for my cup and finally gave up and got out a new one.

Well, this morning I got the boys up and opened their closet to
pull out their clothes for the day and look what I found!

  1. Amazing! Perhaps it was the fairies who hid it. They are always hiding my house keys, recently I found them in the bathroom cabinet after a long search.

    2. Well, I have to blame somebody, I don't think I'm silly enough to put things in the wrong place. It happened again tonight, as I was clearing up after dinner I caught myself just about to put the cheese and biscuits in the oven! Tut!

  4. Guilty of misplacing things, but I think you have me beat.
The boys closet would not be my go to place to search...
Glad you found that cute mug.

  5. I misplaced the milk jug yesterday, only to find it on the porch, of all places.
Then I remember, that a thunderstorm came up, and I hurried outside to roll up the shades...duh.
    It gets worse :)

  9. I do that all of the time with my glasses. I need them for distance, but they have bifocals in them as well. Instead of using the bifocals, I tend to take them off and forget where I've put them. It's quite comical to see me running around looking for them when I can't see far away! ha ha.

    1. I have glasses like that...the bifocal isn't strong enough anymore and I take them off! haha. I have an eye doctor appointment Saturday to fix that!

  10. lol did you warm it up and drink
Or dumb it down the sink?
I've left things a time or two
But most of the time Orlin whacks them somewhere else at my zoo
At least I blame him for it
50/50 chance he moved it with a fit

  13. Haha, I am finding more and more these days that I can't find things. With me, though, it is often right in front of me; at least you had the excuse of putting it down in an obscure place!

    1. The Mister has always been that way! I'll tell him where something is and he can't see it. I have to go and point to it. haha...and he hates that, of course. lol....It will be right there, plain as day.

  17. Ha. right where you left it, surely.
I am always finding my coffee mug somewhere around the school.
It is a wonder I have held onto the current one for 4 years there
because it hides from me some days, i swear. ha.

  19. Yup... I do that type of thing more frequently than I used to. I once cracked an egg into my full coffee mug. Sigh.
