Those New Watermelon Slicers....

Have you tried one yet?
Love!
You can turn a huge watermelon into these perfect
half-plate size slices in about 2 minutes.
No fussing with the rind.  No mess.
Wonderful!
I got mine on ebay for $6.00.

  1. This is the first time I've heard of it. What a great idea and invention! I could have used one this morning on my cantaloupe....I'm assuming it would work on cantaloupes.

  3. Hi Betsy - it's certainly something thinking about ... one watermelon is too too big for me - but I have friends who could well be interested - saves a lot of hassle I bet ... and very melony-fingers ... cheers Hilary

    2. We'll think of an invention and go into partnership, ok. . . .
Think of some problems that need solutions . . . . lol

  6. No. I've never seen one either. We never buy watermelon as even a charentais melon ( a lot smaller) takes us two days to eat.
But as you have tested it and find it good it's obviously a keeper.

    1. A big one takes us four or five days to eat. But why would that stop you? It is sliced and in the fridge ready to snack on!

    2. I suppose the truth is that we prefer a smaller melon with a different taste. Watermelon isn't really a British thing.
