I actually had my macro lens on, set on auto settings, which was what it was set on for something else I was doing today. I just made sure I focused on the raindrops on the glass and not the tree outside the window. Hope that helps!
A galaxy of fragmented light splits into a million shades of every hue and strikes myriads of raindrops, countless and wonderful to rival the very stars in heaven.
I have tried this in the past. I see all the colours in the raindrops, but when I take a picture the drops show up just clear. I make sure I focus on the drops, but to no avail. Your pictures are just magic, I'm jealous!
That has happened to me before, too. Sometimes it's the light I want to capture and it just doesn't translate in a photo. I think I got lucky this time.
Beautiful picture! What settings did you use on your camera?
