Well, I think I'm getting over this bug!
Thanks for all your notes and get well wishes! That cold
turned into a sore throat, cough and fever! Ugh.
I feel like this afternoon I may have turned a corner
and even walked around in the yard with my camera.
That little walk wore me out...haha...but I got a few
pictures of what is going on out there...
Looks like I'll be picking a zucchini or two in about a week!
Hope I catch them before they are the size of the Goodyear Blimp!
The weather is beautiful today!
Have you had a good weekend?
♥
Glad to hear you're mending well.
ReplyDeleteSpiffing.
DeleteI'm glad your weekend was spiffing! :)
DeleteOh look at your lovely garden!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're beginning to mend. Summer colds are crummy. I am still thinking about that pretty bottle of wine. Yum.
I am certainly buying that wine again! It was inexpensive, delicious and made me happy. haha.
DeleteCertainly glad you are feeling better. You are a bright spot on the web.
ReplyDeleteHave you missed me? :)
DeleteGlad you are ok, Betsy. These things are very debilitating and it takes time to fully recover.
ReplyDeleteNice selection of photos ~ the cats look very alert don't they? Like the flip flops very much and those cute little feet . . lol
Thanks, Ed. Boy, I sure could tell when my cough medicine wore off this evening....ugh!
DeleteBut yes, I am feeling much better...clear down to my toes!
See you are clearing out the guest room ~ wanna guest? haha
Deletelol....
DeleteWell you didn't say no . . . . haha
DeleteWell I was sure hoping you were going to pull through! Surprised me to see you pop up so sick. I wondered why you were "lying low" on the radar screen. Keep improving! We need that Sunshine!
ReplyDeleteNot 100% yet but definitely getting there!
DeleteI'm glad you are feeling better. From your photos I'd say our weekend looked much the same.
ReplyDeleteI think just about everyone is enjoying their gardens! Can't wait to start picking and eating in a few weeks!
DeleteI'm glad you are feeling better. Those summer colds are the worst!
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. I have some weekend shots on my blog too, but I spent most of the weekend at work...
Yeah...the worst is a fever in the summer. ugh. I'm getting there, though!
DeleteToo bad you had to work....but I bet that means a day or two off this coming weekend!
Welcome back...hoping you improve a bit more each day...
ReplyDeleteWe had an unbelievable weekend...well, 5 days at the cottage! Loved it!
Enjoy your week...
Cheers!
Linda :o)
5 days is long enough to be a vacation! Lucky you!
DeleteYour insta pics are wonderful!
Thanks Betsy....♥️
DeleteBetsy, I'm happy you feel better!
ReplyDeleteYour pics are always wonderful and the hydrangea is stunning!
Have a nice week
I am loving that hydrangea! Now it will just bloom next year! haha.
Deletezucchini ice cream perhaps?
ReplyDeleteWell now, that would be a unique choice! haha. Never say never!
DeleteI am glad you feel better!! All the pictures are very summerish and aw so pretty! A very powerful and excellent natural remedy for cough is a tea from Malva mauritiana. This plant has a beautiful blue flowers, you pour boiling water over them let sit for 15 minutes and you drink it 3x a day. In two days your cough is gone without any medication needed. I give it to Steve too, we call it 'the blue tea'. And it tastes delicious :-)
ReplyDeleteBlue tea....how interesting. I bet it's beautiful, too.
DeleteBeautiful pictures...glad you are feeling better, nothing worse than being sick in the summer.
ReplyDeleteThank you...and I'm much better even this morning. So glad!
DeleteA nice little walk about
ReplyDeleteAs you fight the germs out
Same thing was had around here
Thankfully my ocd has avoided it coming near
So much easier when living alone
To avoid germs at the tone lol
That is very true!
DeletePeople want to share germs with you!
haha
Love your photos! So crisp and summery! Your veggies and flowers are looking good! Glad you're feeling better. I've just been feeling ho hum, lately. It's the heat. Definitely the heat! 90's into the 100's at times. Needless to say, our weekend was spent in the water.
ReplyDeleteOh yes...one of the reasons I'm not a summer fan...the heat can make you so lethargic! I guess that's why I stay in the A/C most of the time and buzz around my house getting things done. haha. Plus, heat and sweat make me cranky. lol....
DeleteMy garden is doing well! I'm so thankful! Some years it's a total bust...like last year! haha.
HaHa! Heat and sweat makes me cranky, too!
DeleteSo glad you are on the road to recovery. Moms don't get to be sick....so much to do even when you feel yucky.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth? I never stayed in bed....we don't get days off! And the one time I laid on the couch to take a nap, the phone rang. lol...
DeleteGlad to hear you are on the mend. Your yard looks beautiful. This time of year looks beautiful there. The Ohio visitors bureau should pay you for all the pretty pictures you show. Be well!
ReplyDeleteWe've had just enough rain to keep everything looking nice! Some summers aren't like that, so it's been really nice! Feeling much better today! yay!
DeleteGlad to hear you are feeling better. I love that top photo on the right, looks like the flower is welcoming you to come have a sniff (doesn't it look like little fingers). LOL Just my crazy way of seeing the world. Have a great week.
ReplyDeletehaha...yes, it does look like that. That is a hosta...they are all blooming now, hopefully welcoming the hummingbirds!
DeleteLovely photos of your yard. You'll do a wonderful job on the guest bedroom!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to miss that spare room for storing my junk in! haha..but this is certainly making me clear out and clean up.....
DeleteI know what you mean. When our family came back in June I had to do the same thing with my "Work Room"! I eventually got most of the extra papers, cards, memorabilia down to two large tote containers that I put down in the basement until I have more time to go through and throw out.

DeleteSo sorry you have been ailing, Betsy. That's no fun but hopefully you are in better shape today. Loved the pictures even if you did get tired taking them. Just take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteI was much better today...no fever! Yay!
DeleteSo glad you're improving!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! :)
Deleteyour garden photos are beautiful,, there is nothing worse than a summer cold, I hope it has left you!
