Greetings from our holidays Betsy!! Yum! enjoy them! I love tomatos with fresh corriander leaves and lots of olive oil on it ... ps: did the lavender arrived yet? :-)
Yum. We call coriander "cilantro". It does taste wonderful on tomatoes! No lavender yet...but things take over 2 weeks to arrive from your side of the world! I'll let you know! :)
Oh, there's no comparison is there? Hard to even think of them as the same! haha. I can't wait for this first one. The Mister has already requested it on a grilled burger. Yum.
Yes! By the weekend I bet! Thanks for those good wishes about Harry. Had a rough day with him this week....very aggressive and angry and I was poor one he was after for whatever reason. He's been fine ever since, though.
yum. one of the first things i wanted when i got back was a tomato sandwich. we got some really good yellow tomatoes at the market, fat and juicy. mmm hmmm.
I just picked my first with them being three cherry tomatoes. My other plants look like they may produce right about the time of the first frost. Slow growing here.
I didn't even plant tomatoes this year..our season is so short...good thing as it has been very cool so far this summer. I miss vine ripened tomatoes...the very best.
Yum...there is nothing like home grown veggies.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree!
DeleteYou'll be eating tomato sandwiches before you know it! I ate one yesterday and again today. 😀
ReplyDeleteThat's a southern thing! We have to put bacon and lettuce on ours. haha. But they are my favorite! Yum!
DeleteThere you go! I agree a BLT is so delish! But it's something about when the tomato juice and mayo mixes that you just want to drink it. HaHa!
DeleteWell, I'm a mayo girl, so I would have no problem enjoying a tomato sandwich!
DeleteWell done; somehow, we missed out on the veg this year. Apart from rhubarb - does that count?
ReplyDeleteSure it does! I do love a rhubarb strawberry pie! Yum!
DeleteIt won't be long now! Yum!
ReplyDeleteFresh, fresh, fresh!
Deleteyes to both of you!
