Summer? But we haven't had a proper spring yet! haha. We're supposed to be quite warm here, too the next few days...with rain! Loving the warm breeze through the windows today!
Well it seems spring is never proper. It is always up, down and sideways... with this year being particularly chilly. But it is currently 98F in Toronto at 9 p.m. so I think summer has pushed her way in. And, of course, our A/C is broken. Time for mango popsicles!
Drives his truck around his yard, too like he's out in the country without neighbors to view. Always weird to see a truck go by my window when I should just see sky.
That part of the lawn always looks nice....shady and doesn't get too much sun. The cats lay in the shade there during warm days.... can't blame them for that!
It was just about perfect...just a little humid, though. Today is gray and humid....they keep pushing the rain forecast back... I think it's eventually coming!
HaHa! Cocoa is just waiting for one wrong move, and then it's all over. It's like he's daring Mr. Neighbor man to step one foot on that gorgeous, luscious green lawn. But then again, he may know that Mr. Neighbor man has mice and since he's working outside he might scare up a snack or two. It makes you wonder!
Lol! I bet after he has it seen all he comes to you to report it :-) and you know exactly what he tells you! Happy weekend Betsy! And since you mentioned the weather it is very humid and hot, stormy like here and it will be for few days, I love the storms but I really dislike the atmospheric changes before the kind of heaviness that makes you dizzy and sweaty ... yuk
It's good to have feline security... rooftop and otherwise!
ReplyDeleteThat grass looks nice and cool. Very hot here today. Summer has arrived.

Delete98? What on earth?!
DeleteOops - I meant 90F not 98F. But still awfully hot for May!
DeleteA good guard cat . . . . and could summon all the pride to assist if neighbour man stepped out of line . . . lol
ReplyDeleteI'm building a tree bench around a tree like that one . . . :)
Yes..and we all know that he's stepped out of line before! hahaha....
DeleteGlad the cats keep him in order . . . lol
DeleteYour lawn looks nice and green and in good condition . . . :)
So now you have a 007 cat!!! I can't believe our NOT so sunny So. CA. Overcast for over a week. I'm ready for real sunshine.
ReplyDeleteThis is our last sunny day for a while....rain is coming!
DeleteToday has been just about perfect, though.
Have to keep a watchful eye
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe not too watchful while continuing to spy
For neighbor guy isn't shy
Tidy whities in the sky
Drives his truck around his yard, too
Deletelike he's out in the country without neighbors to view.

You had one that was worse.

Beautiful weather here too....but...kinda dark right now...hoping for some rain.
ReplyDeleteYour lawn is lush!
Enjoy your evening...

It looks beautiful there today. It was similar here - felt like summer!
ReplyDeleteGood for Cocoa. He's earning his keep.
It was just about perfect...just a little humid, though.

Hi Betsy - perfect colour contrast ... gorgeous ... cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteIt did end up being a nice composition, didn't it?
DeleteYour little guard dog.
ReplyDeleteOh, you have no idea...he really is! Even as a kitten he guarded the yard...hilarious!

ReplyDeleteWell, he has skunks...so he probably has mice, too. hahaha,.....
DeleteROFLMBO!!!!
DeleteA cat has to find things to do as life can get boring. They are such different kind of animal. A dog would have been right over there and interfering.
ReplyDeletehaha....so true. Cocoa isn't interested in being friends...just protecting his territory.
DeleteThat's one smart kitty cat you got there! One should always know what's going on around them.
ReplyDeleteFull time surveillance around here, that is for sure!
DeleteThe neighborhood watch cat at work!
ReplyDeleteExactly!
DeleteLol! I bet after he has it seen all he comes to you to report it :-) and you know exactly what he tells you!
