Gorgeous! Love the color and I hope there will be many more to follow! I'm doing the Indpls. 500 Mini-Marathon tomorrow....hope you have a terrific weekend!
So beautiful!! ❤️ I had to check the catbird on youtube I did not even know they existed. So lovely. Your nature there is fantastic. Happy weekend Betsy ❤️
Aren't they different? He was back again yesterday so maybe he'll stick around. I guess they eat fruit! Maybe I should hang some out apples out there? But Kiki would probably get to it first. haha.
Yea, the bloom has appeared. Wonderful color! I always enjoy seeing the Clematis that climbs on my neighbors mailbox post. His won't bloom for another month or so here.
I know! It's good everything doesn't bloom at once...I like that there is something new to see as spring progresses! I'd take two seasons of spring over summer any day!
A perfect bloom for Mother's Day. Would like a outfit with that color. I've never had much lavender in my wardrobe. Lovely. Happy Mother's Day sweet Mom!

Wow...good for you! Hope you do well and the weather is nice!
DeleteStunning color.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Betsy.
Isn't it? So fun to watch it all open up!
DeleteBeautiful . . :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it? But it's lonely....the rest of the buds need to join in!
DeleteYes, not much fun when one blooms alone . . . hahaha
DeleteWhat an entrance!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty....early bloomer, though. The others are still not even thinking about it!
DeleteWow! Gorgeous! I just love purple flowers. What is your Clematis climbing on? A fence or trellis?
ReplyDeleteIt's on a trellis...well a pyramid one. Hard to explain. It stands alone.
DeleteWow! I;m not going to tell Bob you have a flower. He's been watching ours, but we have a bit of a wait yet.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you're a few weeks later than we are, but it is a sign of hope! haha.

DeleteHi Betsy - stunning ... lovely ... we have the pinky one out here in full bloom - love that colour - regal purple .. cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletePink would be lovely! There's a deep, dark purple variety that I think is gorgeous, too!

ReplyDeleteI love them growing up mailboxes! I see them a lot like that...such a charming look!
DeleteSuch a pretty purple. I used to grow Clematis and enjoyed them so much. I miss having flowers in a yard since I am an apartment dweller now.
ReplyDeleteNow you can just relax and live vicariously through those of us still slaving away in our yards! haha.
DeleteBloom in all it's glory
ReplyDeleteTelling its own spring time story
If one bloom is a story
Deletethe whole plant will be a library! haha.
Well worth the wait!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
