Well hello! I'm first..haha! Garden Girl is smiling. She must love winter as much as you do. It's going to freeze at the lake tonight. Ugh! My daughter had to there and cover all my veggies up with tarps. I just hope it keeps them safe. I won't get back there until tomorrow to take care of them.
Oh, good...glad your daughter can rescue your cute little garden! I bet the tarps do the trick and everything survives. We've been in the 20's at night. Brr!
I love when she has a dusting. Suits her. Very chilly tonight. I was out with a girlfriend for dinner and wasn't dressed warmly enough but refused to put on more. I am courting spring!
Like the positive attitude . . . lol Wouldn't it be strange though if one morning she looked a little grumpy . . lol Yes a lovely day thanks ~ I must do a post on it on Blogger and Facebook . . . :)
We haven't had snow except for a light dusting early this morning, but it soon disappeared. However there is a bitterly cold breeze, chill factor of 5ºC (41ºF). I think I'll stay indoors today!
Wind chill of 41F? You Brits are whimpy....lol....our temps are in the 20's before the wind. We don't say wind chill unless it's in the single digits. At least it's not raining on you today.....
I like snow in the winter but come April I want some sunshine. I always think of Rhoda's line from the old Mary Tyler Moore Show. I love the white Christmases here in Minnesota but it is the white Easters I can do without!

DeleteOh, me too! She just got back from Ohio. Emily and her husband visited his sister in Columbus. She sent photos of none other than...snow. HaHa!
DeleteI bet she drove right by me! Columbus is one hour north...I lived there for 12 years!
DeleteI love when she has a dusting. Suits her.

We're supposed to have sun and temps in the 60's later this week, so maybe the teasing will be done!
DeleteHi Betsy - gosh I gathered it was cold ... but snow - her white cap does look lovely ...
ReplyDeleteIt is chilly again ... wonderful sun now .. so I guess warmth is coming! Cheers Hilary
The sun helps a lot, doesn't it? Hope it stays for you...were getting rain later today! April showers bring May flowers!
DeleteShe seems happy ~ perhaps she likes Spring . . .
ReplyDeleteHappy 'jammie day' with the boys and the green grapes.
We are all meeting up at Avon Valley Park nearby which should be nice.
She always has a smile on her face...I love her positive attitude. Lol....
DeleteSounds like you have a fun day planned! Enjoy!

DeleteWhat a sweet expression on your garden girl's face. I can almost imagine her blushing. She'll melt that snow in a heartbeat. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI love her face, too.....she always makes me smile!
DeleteIs spring ever going to get here? I surely hope so. Your little girl statue hopes so, too, I bet.
ReplyDeleteI hear it may arrive later this week...at least in Ohio...lol....hope it stays!
DeleteSuch a beautiful capture, Betsy! Thst is April in a nutshell ... Changes in weather from snow to sun and rain!
ReplyDeleteHave a peaceful Sunday afternoon,
Nina
I can't remember what the ground hog said in February, but I'm sure we've had more than six weeks of winter since then!

ReplyDeleteHaha...I loved that show! So true...I love winter....but each season has its loveliness.
DeleteWe got it here too
ReplyDeleteLooks better on her than it does at our zoo
I'm hoping the freeze killed the bugs.
DeleteEverything from mosquitoes to slugs. Lol....
