Love that song and it is perfect for the shot . . . :)Yes, agree with Silver, good timing . . . Garden Girl seems to like them as well . . :)
I think she does like them! I've noticed that they don't land on the gargoyle, though.lol.....
Don't blame them . . . . I think that's the last place a bird would land . . . lolMy favourite Carpenter song is "Only Yesterday" ~ listen to the words . . . :)
Listen to the words? Are you trying to tell me something? lol....off to have dinner with T&L...speak later...
Could be . . . :)OK . . . Here is the URLhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=evETS8_WFGE
She is getting lots of actionAs the birds sit on her and create a faction
And nice of them not to poop. That might cause her smile to droop!
Sweet, sweet photo!
I thought so...always fun to see the birds on her!
Ahhh... a song to go with the picture. And a good song at that. And a good picture.
I thought they went together pretty well. :)
I didn't see the one on her head at first - so well camouflaged!I think maybe her shy smile gets a wee bit brighter when they visit her.Interesting that no one perches on the gargoyle! Laughing.
I know...so funny that they seem to avoid him! haha....
They are very brave little birdies, with all those playful kitties around :)Beautiful as well as brave !~Jo
Yes, they are brave...but they watch are are very aware. Seems theysound an alarm if a kitty approaches. haha.
A Mrs. Cardinal is building a nest in a rosebush beside the covered deck. Mr Cardinal is in the Althea bush carefully looking for the likes of me. I am sitting at the kitchen table watching all this go down. It's going to be an amusing May I hope. The mockingbird that patrols the top of my house is pretty bossy.
I love watching that kind of stuff. Have you seen him feed her? That's my favorite part. :)
I love how they share their space.
Her head does seem to have become the favorite landing spot. haha.
We share a love for the birds, eh Betsy!Great capture...probably never happen again...Cheers!Linda :o)
Sweet things....so fun to watch.
Oh boy - now I have that song in my head! It's perfect for your pic!
Hi Betsy - she was a brilliant buy - and the little birds feel safe with her too ... and great you can so easily see her ... cheers Hilary
It's always fun to see them land on her!
I love starting my day off with a line from the Carpenters Betsy!! And what is prettier than a cardinal? They are my favorite birdies.
It kind of sticks in your head, doesn't it? :)
