You can't fool me, that's a different squirrel. This one has a brown patch on his back foot, whereas the other one hadn't! Ha. You will have to get up early in the morning if you want to catch me out. . . . Nice picture though.
His ears look like he's listening intently just to make sure he's aware completely that nothing is about to pounce on him because that would surely be grim!
Squirrels can be so entertaining! I have a few Walnut trees in my backyard and the squirrels are everywhere gathering their supplies for the Winter months.
Aren't you sweet! Thank you! I am happy to see my friend alive!! And I do have to disagree with Keith :-) it is the same squirrel! i went to check the other one and Keith look closely, the other one has got a braun patch too!! haha! What is his name Betsy? He is playing with fire though with all the cats around :-)
I've seen squirrels like that with really thin tails....always wonder what going on there....I've heard thicker tails mean a harsh winter, so maybe your squirrels know they don't need a bushy one there for winter! Lol...
He sure is enjoying those sunflower seeds.
ReplyDeleteThose have dropped from the bird feeder above....he's good for cleaning up! haha.
