We're getting a little snow flurry this afternoon!
Don't know if it will amount to anything, but I sure am
enjoying watching it! It's dark, grey and windy outside
and the snow it blowing horizontally.
I stepped outside for a second to capture a few with
my camera.....
Some of my flowers bloomed last week when the temps
hit 65 degrees. I liked this flower shaped flake on a flower!
Each of these is tiny! Just one would fit on the head of a pin!
No accumulation, but it sure was fun while it lasted!
♥
Hey, you can keep ALL the snow, doll!
ReplyDeleteWow, I'm first. That hasn't happened in a while!
DeleteI know, I know....I'm just about the only one that like it!
DeleteThe only one indeed
DeleteKeep it all there at your feed
Let it amount
Take count
All yours to stay
Supposed to be little this year so they say
If I send it to the Fox in Massachusetts,
DeleteYou'll get it next even if you don't choose it!
All the weather heads east
as you think snow is a big bad beast.
haha....
lol need to huff and puff
DeleteThen blow away the white stuff
True beauty. I can't wait for snow, but it looks like it will be a balmy, green Christmas here.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what's going to happen by Christmas...fingers crossed!
DeleteI love the snowflakes!
ReplyDeleteWe have way too many snowflakes..want some? :)
ReplyDeleteSure is pretty though..you captured some beautiful intricate ones.
Send them all to me! :)
DeleteCan I send the cold weather too? :)
DeleteCan I send the cold weather too? :)
DeleteHopefully, you'll get more for Christmas! Love those close-ups. It's amazing how intricate snowflakes are and that you're able to see it through your camera lens.
ReplyDeleteThey are so hard to photograph! And yes, I agree....they are tiny intricate amazing things...
Deletewe just think of them as nondescript as raindrops!
Outrageously amazing photos ! Only God could make something that intricate and that tiny at the same time. Only God.
ReplyDeleteExactly....all that wonder if we just take a closer look!
DeleteGloria is so wordy tonight
ReplyDeleteAll those words bring forth a fright
One little word she said
ReplyDeleteand promptly went to bed.
Awesome pictures! But I agree with Pat. You can keep it all at your house! I used to snow ski in Vermont and Colorado and absolutely LOVED the snow then, but I'll take the mid 50's I'm supposed to have on Christmas this year any day!
ReplyDeleteMarla
Unfortunately, it was just flurries here and didn't even make the ground white! haha. Still very chilly and grey, though!
DeleteSuch artistry in the snowflakes . . . . nice to see them looking out from a warm room through a window . . . to be outside with them in the cold ?? . . . . . brrr!
ReplyDeletehaha...but you can't see the lovely details from through the window!
DeleteOK . . . I'll put on my long Johns and brave the elements and take a few photos, but this would seriously disrupt my hibernation program . . . lol
DeleteThey look lovely, Betsy . . :)
Can't wait to see your photos!
DeleteMy favorite part of winter...beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMine, too!
DeleteSnowflakes are like angels...so delicate and beautiful. So fragile and so unique....like people.....your capture of the snowflakes is exquisite. LOVE THEM.
ReplyDeleteYou need some over there! Wonder what Molly would think!
DeleteNope I was the Cinema ,We were to see Star Wars !!!
ReplyDeletewe had snow yesterday which melted and then it rained and is still raining.
ReplyDeleteRain isn't nearly as fun! Get out your wellies!
DeleteHi Betsy - they are amazing shots - I always love snow-flakes ... and then a thick fall, but am grateful we're not under snow, looks so white and sparkling. The pansy-like flower shows the colours so beautifully, just setting off that tiny, tiny flake ... gorgeous - thanks for posting these. Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI love a thick blanket of snow, too...so beautiful! Hope we get one eventually!
DeleteOooh...fun! Was it good?
ReplyDeleteI think snow is pretty, and I love to look at it from afar! LOL! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteFrom afar? lol....don't move further north, then!
DeleteHi Betsy, I adore these snowflake pics. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou may remember I followed you a while back (I live in GA and have 5 rescue cats) Anyway, my email was hacked, so I have a new address/blog. Hope you can visit some time.

Hi Mildred! I did notice you kept going in and out of blogland and wondered if you ever came back!
DeleteI'll come visit you..thanks for the new link!
It's amazing to me what a snowflake looks like when you zoom on. Gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteI know....we just don't think of them with all of that detail! So cool!
DeleteYou got some amazing pics! I've tried but so far haven't been able to get a good macro shot before they melt.
ReplyDeleteYou have to catch them on something that is as cold as they are...not the ground, but something like a leaf...and no sunshine! haha.
DeleteWe had a few flurries yesterday and they were beautiful to see! Enjoy yours!
ReplyDeleteThey only lasted about an hour....too bad!
DeleteWe've had several beautiful snowfalls here. Tonight the wind is, well, WINDY! lol
ReplyDeleteYou're so lucky! Send some over here!
