    Watch it Betsy! I was a librarian for more than 30 yrs. :-) I actually hated my job. Got a Ph.D. so I could teach, rather than do, but life didn't work out as I had planned, and I wound up in charge of a university library. Admin. was never my cup of tea. Lynne in NC

      I did not know that! My brother-in-law has been a university library administrator for over 30 years. You two would have plenty to talk about!
      And boy do I know about life not working out how you planned...lol....

    I think our librarian came straight from the set of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"! I mean Elphaba, the Wicked Witch, It's obvious she hates children and old men, "You there . . .yes YOU. . . . . .don't sit THERE, those seats are for the children!" was the last 'telling off' she gave me last week!

    I want you to come and be our librarian, pretty please?

      Oh, I've had contacts since I was 14 years old.
      The contacts are for home...when I'm lazy...or when my allergies are acting up. :)

    Hi Betsy - yes you always look happy as Blondie notes ... and young as Mari notes ... and then using a cell phone for less wrinkles - I must remember that!! Any library would be very happy to have you out front greeting and meeting fellow book lovers .. .cheers Hilary
