Here's what's been happening in our kitchen lately...
- Pork tenderloin with baked pineapple and teriyaki rice.
- BLT's.
- Breaded chicken tenderloins, roasted baby potatoes, slaw.
- Grilled Ahi tuna steaks, spinach salad.
- Clean out the fridge soup ~ smoked kielbasa, potatoes, corn and zucchini among other veggies in a creamy chicken stock base.

Do I get a special chair
At your lair
Why yes you do!
DeleteHow fun for you!
A cat might want to set in your lap
as you take a chicken snack. haha.
haha fine by me
DeleteOrlin has it broken in at my sea
Shadow sat in my lap for the first time this morning
DeleteBreaking in ferals is never boring!
Spinach and carrots and chicken for me
ReplyDeleteAlways the go to at my sea
At least you wouldn't starve here!
DeleteFor that I give a great big cheer!
yummo!
ReplyDeleteThanks, laurie... :)
DeleteI bet you are going shopping today!
ReplyDeleteAll those yummy dinners and the clean the fridge soup, leaves you a bare refrigerator.
You Go Girl...
I absolutely did go shopping today! And I wiped out the fridge before loading it
Deleteback up...something I love to get done but fail to do half the time. haha.
Fridge is clean and full. Yay!
I love being creative with 'clean out the fridge' soups - but you are a great deal more creative than I in your day-to-day dinners. They all look delicious.
ReplyDeleteMe, too...I love to make meals like that. This soup was so yummy, I'm going to have to make it again even if
Deletewe aren't cleaning out the fridge. haha.
They all look extremely appetising . . . . a great 5 days of eating . . . I think my fav would be the first one . . . :)
ReplyDeleteThe first one was really yummy....I need to make that one again!
DeleteMake another plateful and I'll come and join you . . . :)
DeleteEverybody's welcome! :)
DeleteAll look scrumpdillyicious!
ReplyDeleteBaked pineapple - mmmmm, I will have to try that.
yes...that was so good....just put it in the oven with the pork...all drizzled with teriyaki sauce...so delish!
DeleteYum. Love the look of that soup, too. I always forget that I can add sausage to soup!
DeleteFirst time for me to do that but it won't be the last!
DeleteAll look delicious :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gloria! :)
DeleteI had a "clean out the fridge" day today as well! With what I found I made six bruschetta slices (Google it), a Spanish omelette, a Quiche with bacon, some vintage cheese, shrivelled spring onions and some questionable mini-tomatoes (they could have been grapes a while back, but it was difficult to tell).
ReplyDeleteInvited a friend round, J, and we managed to eat the lot between us.
Your dinners look a bit more interesting than my efforts. Still, we can't all be "SuperChefs" can we? :-{)
DeleteLucky J ~ that all sounds wonderful!
DeleteAnd you don't fool me one bit...you're the Super Chef...with formal training, even!
Clean out the fridge soup looks the best to me
ReplyDeleteIt was SO good, Mary! I'm going to have to make it again and write out a recipe!
DeletePerfect for the cooler months...yum!
I took a friend out to lunch today for her birthday. I'm stuffed but wow, everything you posted looks so good.
ReplyDeleteLucky family to have such a wonderful Chef.
Lunch out with a friend sounds really nice, too! Yum!
DeleteIt all looks so good!
ReplyDeleteWell, thank you! :)
DeleteI want to know whose plate that was with all those potatoes!
ReplyDeleteMy kind of meal! Love taters! And everything else....hahaha!
Enjoy your evening Betsy!
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Mine!~ haha....but in my defense, they were bite-sized..didn't even
Deletehave to cut them...just pop them in your mouth! yum.
I love potatoes...must be my Irish dna. :)
These dishes look like they could be on a restaurant menu!
ReplyDeleteWell, thanks! It's always fun to see what ends up on our plates...haha...
DeleteHi Betsy - just done the same with a whole lot of left over veggies - into a casserole pot they went, covered with some bacon and baked, hot and crispy ... good leftovers! I love your meals ... always a mix of fruit added in ... Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteyum...that sounds really delicious!
DeleteI wasn't hungry last night, when I saw your post. But this morning.....I could scoff down every one of them. My Irish DNA loves potatoes, too. Our clean out the fridge soup is usually homemade vegetable soup. I love it, especially in cooler weather with cornbread.
ReplyDeleteI don't serve soup at all during the warm months....but it's a favorite when it's cold! Easy on the cook, too...love that.
DeleteAnd with cornbread? Even better!
