  2. Grilled boneless pork chops with lemon basil cucumber and corn salad.
  3. Gluten free pasta, sauteed onions and zucchini topped with tomato basil sauce.
  4. Teriyaki grilled burgers topped with havarti cheese, sauteed onions and mushrooms with grilled potatoes, veggies and dip.

  1. Would you set an extra plate...going to see if Southwest has a cheap flight. HaHa. "If I were a rich man....lalalala" I'd take that flight. Your food always is so picture perfect and I know it would taste just as good. Sending love and hugs.

  9. Your meals always look so vibrant (and delicious, of course). Any particular reason for trying gluten free pasta?

    1. Well, we've already tried it for the autism, if that's what you're getting at....Harry and Spencer are gluten free and it didn't change their behavior at all. I bought it for me, actually....thinking gluten is not agreeing with me recently so I thought I'd give it a try.

    2. I had been trying to have a little less gluten in my diet when I read a book that said it contributes to Alzheimer's. Re the autism, we saw dramatic differences with my son when we first went gluten free, but over the past year or so my wife has relaxed the diet saying she did not notice any difference. I think Kai has had his worst year in a long time, though I can't say that it has been due to the introduction of gluten.

    3. I hadn't heard about the Alzheimers....coffee prevents it...so drink up! haha. Interesting about Kai...might be worth another try. Spencer is gluten free by his choice...his limited diet just doesn't include any, not that he knows what it is..lol. We took Harry off of it for an autism experiment years ago...no change in the autism, but his chronic constipation was gone so we kept going with it. Alex loves his carbs and gluten and we have weaned him off a lot of it but haven't seen a change, so who knows! It's different with everyone.

    4. I may have to re-think my caffeine-free diet. I think there are benefits to being gluten free aside from the autism aspect... hope it helps with you!

      Delete
    5. Caffeine free....how do you do it? lol.....

I do agree gluten affects everyone differently. If I eat a little, like bread to make a sandwich, I don't notice anything. But a meal like a plate of pasta with bread on the side and cake for dessert makes me feel bloated. It's not exactly the healthiest of meals either, of course...lol....

  10. Wowie! So tempting and beautiful to look at too. If there's room at the table, I'll bring wine!

    1. Oh, just in my head...lol....I don't usually follow recipes...just grilled meat, and fruit/veggies to go alongside. It has to be quick
and simple and yummy and I just go from there.
