Birthday Food

The Mister took me out to lunch today for my birthday.
We almost always choose McCormick and Schmicks when
we go out, and today was no different!

We both had a cup of clam chowder to start.  Yum.

Then here's what I had...pecan encrusted talapia with
fresh green beans and couscous with sweet potatoes.
I've had it before...so delicious!

The photos aren't too bad for my cell, huh!
I didn't even have to do any editing!

The Mister had his favorite shrimp, fish and fries.
I didn't really mean to cut off his head...haha....I guess
I was more interested in his plate!
Just look at all that crunchy, fried food!  yum!

I'm getting hungry and it's passed lunchtime and not quite early supper time.
What to do? Either snack or go for very early supper...(:0)

I wonder if you could do pecan crusted at home. That sounds so good. I like coos coos too. I would have chosen your meal in a flash.

    1. I bet you could do it at home. The pecans were chopped so fine..almost like flour, so much have done it in a food processor. Sure was delish...nice and crispy on the outside. I should try to make it!

Thanks for the wishes and hugs....I'd never turn down either! haha...

    2. I forget to tell you. I was think about your birthday and last night you made it into my dreams. My sister and I were in the parking lot at a grocery store and you came out with your bags. I introduced you to my sister and you said to come on over and if we got there first to just go on in. We did arrive first, and went inside, and a bird was flying around your living room...then I woke up. HaHa. Dreams are a hoot. It was sure nice of you to invite us...I wish I had stayed asleep long enough to have some of your good good. Maybe next dream.....HaHa

    3. Haha...oh, that is so funny! I think dreams are so interesting! I just looked up the meaning of seeing flying birds and it means harmony, joy and love. But....it doesn't say what it means if they are flying inside your house! Maybe that just means it's a zoo! Lol....
