I'll Eat Just A Few...

I went to Trader Joe's last week and filled a gift bag
with chocolate treats for The Mister's birthday.
These Chocolate Coconut Almonds were one of the
choices...something I'd pick for myself...lol.
Well, I was hungry this afternoon and they
were calling my name from the pantry.
Someone please take these away from me!
I can't stop....I've tried....it's hopeless!
Do you think he'll notice they're almost gone?

  1. I'm sorry, but I can be of no help. I'm a hide-the-chocolate-from-everyone-else eater. Unless you want to mail me the leftovers. Then you can tell the Mister that you donated to a worthy cause.

  2. lol nice to gift yourself a treat
They'll only last as long as there are some to eat
Then there will be no need to hide
    After the tummy ride

    1. I like the way you think.
although I would grow and not shrink.
But once they are all gone
there will be none to see the Betsy Song.
      haha....

  4. And there I was feeling all guilty that I had had a Great British Breakfast . . . lol . . . so funny. They do look exceptionally moorish . .
Love the way you said, "They were calling your name!"
I like Laurie's suggestion. . I have another . . . Pay another visit to Joe's and get some more and then you can finish the remainder of the first batch and perhaps some of the second . . . . and while you are at it get some for me . . . lol
Have you eaten any other part of his edible birthday presents? . . . rofl

    1. haha...well, in my defense, I had only eaten a yogurt today!
I haven't eaten anything else that was part of his gift.....and I can pass
on all the rest...but the coconut was just too much to resist!

  6. Lol...I feel your pain ;)
I bought a bag of Rowntree's wine gums at the imported section of our Publix today. I was going to ration them out, a few each night...
I threw the bag away at dusk....empty.
    *sigh*

  9. Those sound really great. I feel your pain. I did up a batch of caramel corn today and I ate way too much. If it is in the house I will eat it.Sometimes we gals just have to have chocolate.
