Yikes ~ glad it's the spider. Love your nails and the heart in your new header. I'm giving my self a mani and pedi before I leave Sunday for my sisters.
Just talked to my sister~~~she said DON'T give yourself a pedicure ~ she has already made plans for us to get one together as part of our trip....oh how sweet it is..
Oh, that's even more fun! I love getting a professional one...and going with another girl is even better! I think Lauren and I are due to go...I'll have to make that happen soon! :)
It is amazing how fast they can spin those from place to place. I hope you are feeling some better. We are close to being better but that summer cold likes to hang on and nag at you.
I have a few in the corners of the windows that are trapping bugs like crazy. How much do they need to eat during the winter, anyway? haha. They catch bugs many times bigger than themselves.....amazing.
I know an old lady who swallowed a spider . . . that wriggled and giggled and tickled inside her . . .She swallowed the spider to catch the fly . . but I don't know why she swallowed the fly . . . perhaps she'll die . . Very intricate designs are spider's webs . . quite remarkable. shame your's has to keep rebuilding . . :)
Spiders... oh my. Reminds me of an OLLLLLD country song--"I don't like spiders and snakes....but that ain't what it takes to love you...." Anyway, that just popped in from somewhere out back. Eddie breaking into song sparked it I suppose. And I agree about those cute little fingers all pedicured up and dazzling... and the heart... what an "eye-catcher" my dear.... (and so happy you're bouncing back).
Did you mean holey there? I didn't see any halo on it's hair. lol... I walked through it once felt like a dunce. Hate that feeling, too... makes you say Eww!
Are we playing "Spot the Spider"?
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrible web maker!
DeletePoor thing makes a beautiful web every day and the wind/rain tear it apart.
DeleteBut she starts over and has it up again by the end of the day!

ReplyDeleteI'm still dragging around...hopefully getting near the end of this! Summer colds do seem worse for some reason!
DeleteI like that I'm not the only one taking pictures of spider webs, but it looks to me like the fern is doing the hanging on.
ReplyDelete:0)
Well, I hope the web isn't holding up the fern or that thing is going to come crashing down!
DeleteNot holding it up, just holding on. Kind of like holding hands, except not.

Yes, it does look like that!
DeleteWe can see the spiders know autumn is on its way by the number of traps they set for us around the garden

DeleteA spider in the front garden caught me this evening. But I escaped and hung him up on the front hedge!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you escaped! :)

ReplyDeletePerhaps tomorrow she'll have a fresh one made. Maybe it will say "Some Pig" in it. haha....

We say a very similar rhyme but it starts with the fly. :)
DeleteShe's a persistent spider...keeps rebuilding!
Yes . . . it was a Burl Ives song . . . she eventually eats a cow and he says I don't know how she swallowed a cow and then a horse . . . lol
DeleteYes they are persistent . . . hope that little one manages to keep her net for a while . . :)
Love your nails and I saw your cell phone before when you bought it . . . Well ring my chimes!! , , lol
Well, look! Your face has appeared again! lol....
