"The Legend of the Gate Keeper". Now there's an idea for a book about a man who changes into a big cat at night, and guards the entrance to the churchyard in the Land of Taron and . . . . . . . . . .oh dear, I just remembered, somebody has already written it.
I guess your cats are used to you stalking them with your camera. That spot doesn't look at all comfortable. Did he leap down after you'd taken the picture?
Marmie is so big and handsome! I love how your kitties play various roles and have various "duties!" All secure on the homefront. Your own little cat platoon. lol
