He's a beast! haha...but he's become a very nice cat. He's chatty, kind and never gets into any mischief....unlike someof his siblings. lol....
the keeper of the gate is a beauty and by the look they take their job very seriously !!
He certainly does! They all do, in fact. Security is very tight around here! ha.
Beautiful cat! And is that a big crow in the background? Looks like he's doing his job!!
haha....no, that is an eagle weathervane that is standing in the violet patch.
Looks like the weather has cleared up for you and the cats.
It had there for a while! We've had rain and sun today and it is SO humid, you would not believe it. lol....

Pity the fool who tries to go under. That would be a very big blunder!
He certainly looks intent on guarding that gate. Like Pat said....state of death! Haha!
Just like when they watch the neighborhood from the roof....they are not fooling around! haha.
"The Legend of the Gate Keeper". Now there's an idea for a book about a man who changes into a big cat at night, and guards the entrance to the churchyard in the Land of Taron and . . . . . . . . . .oh dear, I just remembered, somebody has already written it.
lol....maybe you could change just a few details and nobody would notice it wasn't original. :)
I guess your cats are used to you stalking them with your camera. That spot doesn't look at all comfortable. Did he leap down after you'd taken the picture?
He's sitting on a fence post just behind the pickets....they sit there for hours, so it must be comfy! haha....
Marmie is so big and handsome! I love how your kitties play various roles and have various "duties!" All secure on the homefront. Your own little cat platoon. lol
Marmy, Tiger and Slate are the big bruisers here. haha....they are heavy guys!Kitty platoon...lol....love that. :)
"Halt! Who Goes There? Advance and be recognised!!!" . . . . the queen's guard speaks . . :) lolLovely shot Betsy
