Sweet little girl !They seem to be everywhere right now, all colors.....~Jo
I haven't seen a Monarch yet! But this little one is there every day!
Aw! Isn't she a cutie. Her markings remind me of a beautiful Tiffany lamp.
She is sweet...took me a little bit of investigating to find her name, but once I did I could even tell that she was female. Love her big eyes!
Beautiful shot . . . :)
Interesting to see we have some Firey Skipper butterflies in Devon, here in the South West.Did not know that species . . :)
Great picture....I can see her eyeball, watching you. Lol!
I know! hahaha....tongue sticking out, big eyes...maybe she was making a face at me....lol....
So that is what I found on Bethany's Purple Cone Flowers.I called it a "flying thing".:0)
Or maybe my bug is something different...
a flying thing? not even a butterfly? ha.
I remember lots of those little guys in my parents yard. I loved the way they flitted around. This is a beautiful capture.
Thank you....she stayed around a good long time and didn't seem to mind the camera!
She's lovely, and the flower she's enjoying is so beautiful in focus, and the background....muted...love this.
Isn't she pretty? I talked to her...I wonder if butterflies can hear. lol....
I enjoy front porches too! And pretty flowers arranged along the way here and there. Can I come sit a while?
Well, of course you can....would you like coffee or iced tea? :)
Mornings = coffee.... lunch time or later would be sweet iced tea!
You know we drink out tea unsweetened up here...unless it's hot. lol....sacrilege, I know!I do know how to make southern sweet tea, though, so you're safe and won't die of thirst.
Hi Betsy - Picturesque ... lovely - the flutterbyes are out ... I see them flitting around here ... cheers Hilary
They are in their prime, aren't they? So many flowers to visit!
Feed awayAnd friendly all creatures are at your bay
huh? lol....
Butterflies can be scary up close. Just saying!!! Lol
hahaha....and if I showed one landing on a strawberry, that might just put you over the edge! haha...nice to see you back...hope the honeymoon was wonderful! I hear there was rain in Florida!
This is one of those photos that has to be viewed a full size. There is so much more detail to see!
