ha! You know, I can't get these photos will my nicer camera ...not in any setting or with any lens! I go back to my point-in-shoot and zoom in and snap. It's the strangest thing! It's the one reason I won't get rid of that camera...it's now my 'moon camera'. haha....
Lovely photo. You never get to see the moon like this in London. And v impressed how clear the craters show at the South Pole. If it is the moon's South Pole.
Too many buildings, too many street lights, too much pollution and typically too much cloud. London is not a good spot for observing the sky. But for many other things it's great. Well your camera does an impressive job.
Beautiful definition and razor sharp detail. Something endearing also by your phrase "Above my little home" . . quite touching . . :) Love the quote as well . . .
So cool! I had a hunch you would be posting a picture of the blue moon. I'm glad you did. It's cloudy and rainy here. I won't be able to see it very well.
When I got up this morning and tossed the curtains back there was the big blue moon setting. It was beautiful. I am going to have the blue moon song ear worming in my head. : ) Great picture you have there. You really are doing some nice photos.
Perfect!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I didn't forget to get out there with my camera!
DeleteSadly, I was involved in a work project and forgot to look. Ah, well.
DeleteI am smiling that you have a "dedicated" moon camera!
Yep...the moon camera! Haha....isn't that crazy? But it's good for that, so it earns its keep!
DeleteIt was big and bright, that is for sure! Fun to see!
ReplyDeleteMoon envy.

ReplyDeleteIs Big Ben blocking the view? haha.
DeleteI think that south pole point is my favorite part of all...incredible that my camera can pick that up!

I can't get sunrise photos here....the eastern sky is completely blocked from my home! At least I have the moon. ha.

I agree with Eddie - the phrase is endearing and makes us feel a little closer to each other, I think. xo

ReplyDeleteThe last few full moons have been hidden by clouds here, too! So nice to have a clear view this time!

ReplyDeleteThat sounds lovely...I don't see the moon in the morning that often...very cool!
DeleteYou take the most beautiful moon shots!
ReplyDeleteWell, he is quite photogenic...lol....thanks, Mari. :)
DeleteNice one. The moon has been shining so bright here. Next blue moon will be 2018.
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS shot, Betsy..mine all turned out looking like white blobs. LOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo. My shot seemed to be a white spot with no detail. I have to learn more about my camera.
