That might be a good idea . . . will think on it . . . I might call it Betsy if it was a girl . . . :) And yes Peter would love it . . . I am sure, He often strokes a black cat on our travels to town . . :)
No, not really. He was kind to her when she first came but they didn't go beyond that. I got a couple of pictures of them sleeping on the couch together early on, though. :)
He's a good poser...never had a bad hair day...very photogenic. haha. Lynne from NC, who doesn't have a blog, but comments occasionally loves Slate.....I haven't seen her here in a while so thought we'd say hello with her favorite kitty. :)
He likes to be brushed, too which is new at our zoo. After brushing little Star we started a line near and far. Everyone thinks it feels grand and there isn't so much loose fur across our land!
I, too, was wondering where Lynne was. We get used to your regulars. :-) I just adore Slate - from everything you say he seems like the perfect cat. If he is ever missing... you might want to check a certain gal in Toronto! Hee hee.
One of God's masterpieces.

DeleteI can see you installing a little cat flap so she could come and go into the back garden. :)
DeleteYes a little cat flap . . . indeed but she might invite all her mates and we might end up having 15 or so cats . . . :)
DeleteOnly for dinner....not to stay. haha...I've never had a new cat live with me because of the cat flap!
DeleteShame Lynne has not called in to see Slate . . . maybe a little later . . :)
DeleteIt would be nice to have a piccie of Slate and Star together . . . are they good friends?
DeleteNo, not really. He was kind to her when she first came but they didn't go beyond that. I got a couple of pictures of them sleeping on the couch together early on, though. :)
