- A yummy treat. Intense flavor. Delish.
- The rain made Garden Girl look like GI Jane!
- Last week I started letting Star go outside. She was begging! The first few times I stayed out with her. But she never wanted to go far. She loves to look around a little and then nap on a patio chair. She hasn't gotten the hang of the pet flap yet and I'm not encouraging it.
- The first time Star and I went out, I had to laugh as sleepy cats emerged from underneath trees and bushes to see what we were up to!
- I love this picture of Smokey.
- Not all the cat stories are happy, though. We haven't seen Domino in over 1 1/2 weeks. I hate the not knowing what happened the most. :(
- Remember Alex and the glitter? I'm still finding it everywhere! On me, on Marmalade, on Alex's toothbrush, in the bath tub... you name it! ha.
- A cowboy boot carrot.

I think the glitter thing is still hilarious. One year, I sent out Christmas cards with glitter on them. Days later, I sent out an apology over Facebook to the recipients. Lol!! That mess was everywhere....even got it in my eyes.
ReplyDeletehaha...oh, I can SO relate! They sent the artwork home crushed down in his lunch box! Ack! The whole lunch box had a layer of glitter inside...I couldn't believe it. We'll be seeing that glitter forever!
DeleteOh no, Betsy. I hope Domino returns. Have you checked with neighbours to ask them to open sheds to check? I always worry that they go in when they are open and then get trapped inside. It pays to ask them just for your own sake. Loved your photos tonight. Deb
ReplyDeleteI have thought of that before, too, and asked neighbors to look...even in garages. I don't know of anyone on our street that has been gone that long, though where he would be trapped all that time. Maybe he's with Peach. :)
DeleteOh, Domino...come home. Where are your lemon bars...HaHa...I just laughed out loud at your cowboy boot....Hope he doesn't step in that "pile" next to him....HaHaHa. Martha had a sparkle top when she visited her last year....I found sparkle for months...In fact..we laughed when we woke up and had sparkle in the bed too. (Don took the couch so we could have a slumber party while she was visiting)
ReplyDeleteI didn't take any cookie pictures! I wonder if I hung a cookie sign in the window if I'd get anyone knocking on the door. haha....
DeleteOh dear....hope he comes home....fabulous photos Betsy...you put us all to shame...
ReplyDeleteWanda's comment is too funny! Loved that!
Glitter glitter everywhere.....:o)
Cheers!
Linda :o)
I painted my toe nails with glittery polish tonight...but that glitter I want! haha.
DeleteGlitter! It has 9 lives!
ReplyDelete:( about Domino.
That is an awesome shot of Smokey!
Isn't Smoke so cute? He's kind of a whiny thing, though. haha...
DeleteBlood orange sorbet. Ooooooo! Must see if we have it here. San Pellegrino has a blood orange drink that I just love.
ReplyDeleteSmoke looks so much like Slate to me. Lovely kitty.
DOMINO COME HOME!!! (Think he heard me?)
I love the parade of kitties in the fourth photo... it's like a clown car with dozens of clowns ascending!
Smoke and Slate are the exact same color! But Slate is more than twice the size. ha.
DeleteI hope Domino heard you! I've been telling all the others to go find him...and Peach...and Grey!
Yes, you should look for the sorbet....so yummy!
Kitty posse!
ReplyDeleteAnd that's only a fraction of them! haha...
DeleteYour cat collection amazes me...and yes, not all happy endings, but you gave the kitty his best chance...love the glitter. The carrot boot cracked me up!
ReplyDeleteMy cat collection amazes me, too! They are all sweet, beautiful and I love them. Who would have thought!
DeleteSo sorry about Domino, I hope he returns ASAP.
ReplyDeleteLove all the photos and that glitter is like rabbits....it multiplies....
glitter is like rabbits....lol....that is so true!
DeleteYour shots always seem to tell a story. Hope the cat turns up soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mike...I hope so, too, but after a week it kind of seem like the odds are against it. :(
DeleteHope Domino shows up soon. =( Love the glitter... it does leave LASTING reminders... ;) blessings and hugs ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteWe will probably never be rid of it! It's crazy stuff!
Deletelol the cats sure wanted to see what was going on
ReplyDeleteAs they are all spread out across the driveway and lawn
Did the cowboy boot sweeten
When it got eatan?
And yeah the glitter goes every which way
Likes to be there to stay
It didn't taste like leather
Deleteeven in this rainy weather.
A beta carotene boot.
What a hoot!
Your fruit and veggies alway look like something. Cracks me up!!
ReplyDeleteIt is SO true. Aren't you glad it wasn't a strawberry? ha.
DeleteLook at all the kitties!!!!!!! :) Betsy, you won my stencil give-away. Can you please send me your email. Mine is dragonfly2782@verizon.net.......congrats! :)
ReplyDeleteNo kidding? Wow...that is so cool! I'll sent you a note. :)
DeletePoor garden girl . . . what no umbrella ?
ReplyDeleteLoved all the cats coming out of their hideouts ~ they must thing little Star is a celebrity.
All great shots . . .
Funny about the boot . . lol . . :)
Front garden looks lovely . .
No, no Ed. It's me that is the celebrity! haha. They hear my voice and come out and compete for my affections. :)
DeleteThey are all a little wary of Star. She gives a mean wop with her clawless paw. haha....
Well yes . . . I should have realised it is you that is the celebrity . . . charisma oozing from every paw . . . err pore . . . lol
Delete, , , and a little Bantam Weight south paw with you . . . what a Star . . . lol
I love those pictures of the cats. Your gardener is bit lax; the grass need cutting! Like my butler, he hasn't bothered to polish the silver this week.Ha!
ReplyDeleteI also love the discreet way you use the excuse of the glitter to show off your diamond encrusted watch. Double Ha!
Anyway, sorry to hear Domino has gone missing, but don't give up hope, it he's got any sense he'll be back!
haha...oh, you are so clever! I do love my watch, though. I got to pick it out for my 50th birthday. It's solar powered and water proof, so I never take it off! I think my favorite part, though, is the mother-of-pearl face.
DeleteYes, poor Domino. I wish all the ones that have gone missing would come back!
They are "gypsy cats". Time to move to pastures anew, see the world etc. A bit like the feral cat community near me, the cats are constantly changing; even Ginger Tom has gone now.
DeleteWell, that's putting a positive spin on it. I always think they aren't alive any longer. Now what is wrong with this picture?. I'm usually the sunny one and you are the sorry clouds....haha....
