A Birthday Celebration



24 years ago today, our first little one was born.




So, I baked a cake!




And added some candles.




Set the table...




And wrapped some gifts.




As our tradition after dinner,
 Spencer helped sing Happy Birthday...




And Harry tried to blow out the candles.



And we all laugh, because you just have to be here
to experience how funny those things can be. :)

      The cake was good...need to tweak that icing recipe a bit before it's a keeper, though!

      There's no such thing as "left over cake"! I saw a book in a joke shop once, entitled "Cooking with left Over Wine" and when I flipped through the pages they were all blank!

    What fun and that cake looks so good. I always knew Taylor looked like you, but my goodness....put long hair, lipstick, and shave the stubble, and you have Betsy.
