What a gorgeous photo Betsy! You are so lovely with little star showing how quickly she has acclimated to her new home. I believe you have Dr. Dolittle instincts for certain. She came along at just the right time to make up for Peach's disappearance. Lynne in NC
You're so right....she has been a pleasant distraction as I was sick that Peach didn't come back. She's been here a week already and has settled in much quicker than I thought possible. Until today, she would allow me to pick her up but I could tell she was merely tolerating it. Today she would snuggle in and purr. So sweet. She won't sit down on my lap yet, but she did sleep on our bed last night. We were amazed....
Happy Sunday to you! And your five men + one .. and the cats too! (Garden Girl also)
We've all had a good weekend...Garden Girl, included. ha.
You two are looking good. I am still holding out for Peach to come back. The only foreclosure cat we took in is really uncomfortable being picked up and held. He likes to hang close though. Glad Star is settling in there. Taria
I admit I still glance out the back door a few times a day, specifically to look for Peach. :)
Absolutely beautiful, what a charmer! Star looks pretty good too!
Well, aren't you sweet. :)
Well,.... now you're doubly sweet! haha....
I don't know what happened there, I only sent that comment once! (but I would have liked to send it a hundred times, but that would be silly wouldn't it?)
Well, maybe a little! ha.
Aw, this is very sweet, Betsy, of both of you.
She needs to learn how to pose for the camera like my others cats. Maybe Slate can give her lessons. ;)
Come around quickAs you just clickSlate get jealous thoughAfter the show? lol
Jack is the jealous oneand he's been acting up a ton. ha.
hahaha poor guyNeeds to make some fish fly
I make my slipper fly and whack his little self! He's been nothing but a mischievous elf!
Two beautiful stars......Love this picture of you Betsy, you are a beautiful lady, and little Star is becoming more and more furry and happy !~Jo
Her coat is full of mats and she's tolerating me untangling them one by one. If I start on a second one she nips at me. lol....But she's looking better~a little hydrated and she's probably gained a few ounces. She's getting her spunk back....makes me smile to see her trotting around the house. :)
Awww! You both look happy.I'm still holding out hope that Peaches will show up from time to time too!
Oh, me too! I'd love to see him again, even if he chose not to live here.
Great photo!Happy Sunday!Cheers!Linda :o)
It has been a happy Sunday!I'm guessing you're back home! yay!
Why look! It's two stars! Lovely, lovely photo. I do like her "pug" face. She looks furrier to me .So happy to see her filling out. And every time you mention her trotting around the house... I smile. I can just picture it.
It's especially cute when the first few days she moved as if she was stiff and not used to running around...not to mention very weak and sick. When she started trotting it was just so adorable! It's as if she's saying, "You're going out to the kitchen? Let me lead the way!" and off she goes...lol....
Hi Betsy - such a lovely shot of you with Star .. just gorgeous .. and she must be feeling so so settled .. wonderful .. cheers Hilary
She's done so well in just a week....I'm so glad!
Two beauties :-) lovely shot and Star has made herself at home :-)
She sure has! This morning is the first that is cool enough to open the windows and she is loving laying in the window sill, listening to the birds and watching the breeze rustle the trees!
Star for sure knows how to enjoy life!!! :-)
Yep...nothing better for a cat than to lay in a window!
Breathtaking . . and Star is ok too . . . . :). . so nice to see you in a picture . . . . and little Star seems so settled . . .
I'll tell Star that you approve! :)
What a beautifil pic!!!xox
Thanks, Manu! :)
Betsy...you are gorgeous!!!! And that's a pretty good looking cat as well. :) Happy Monday!
Aw, thanks, Jax. :)
thank you, lynn :)
Fantastic photo! Treasure this one!
The mister took it....he never uses my camera so I was giving instructions ....what a hilarious few minutes. My smile was fading as he was trying everything to make Star look at the camera....she was having none of that! haha....
Great picture, Betsy! You are very pretty! Does Star have her ears peeled back. Looks like her patience is wearing thin. Good thing the Mister got the picture when he did.
He took for---ev---er to take the picture. lol....my patience was wearing thin, too! lol....
My Dad often used to take forever to snap photos. We were barely hanging on to our smiles in a lot of them!
Aww, she looks pretty happy to me- so do you!
Every day she's doing something new....she's so different from my other cats! Kind of fun but a big learning curve.
Beautiful photo of you Betsy..oh and of Star too:)
I think Star knows where to go to live the good life. She is pretty.
Precious photo. :)
