LOL . . . . doesn't look very comfortable for him . . . . such dedication . . . :)
All those cushy layers? :) He's still there as I type.....must not be too bad. lol...
Maybe he's determined to show you he didn't make a mistake choosing this for his bed?
His 'usual' spot is on the couch or on the boys' bed. Those bags must have looked very cozy. lol...
Cats are so annoying the way they can look impossibly glamorous and relaxed even when they must be a little uncomfy.
He is a poser, that is for sure....very photogenic!
This photo is almost too much to bear. So precious it gives the viewer cuteness overload. I could almost swear Slate knows the effect he has on humans who view him. Lynne in NC
I knew you'd enjoy this one, Lynne! Isn't he something else? And if you go scratch his head, he always stretches out and want his belly rubbed. haha...
"The Keeper of the Grocery Bags". That's sounds like the cue for a full length feature film, even a book. That could lead to fame and fortune, a world tour and book signing event.Remember "A Street Cat Named Bob"? He went from humble beginnings to a live in a villa in the south of France!http://www.amazon.co.uk/Street-Cat-Named-Bob-streets/dp/1444737112
You're right! It really does. If Bob could do it, why not Slate? haha. Does that mean I'd have to play the guitar? :)
Would you be our publicist?
LOL!!! Maybe he wants to be the last thing you remember on your way out to the store. You know. So you remember to buy him lots of food;-)blessings, jill
I had just returned from the store and he inspected all the purchases and seemed to approve. Then when I folded up the bags, he plopped down on them and napped. Silly cat....
OMY I love Slate:))))
Isn't he handsome? :)
He is lovely!
Oh, he is gorgeous. :)
He's huge....gee whiz, and heavy, too!
Oh yea- it's cool, it's crackly, it's purr-fect!
This is the second time I've smiled over a cat's choice of bed.....earlier today Oliver curled his large self inside a tiny crock, filled with walking canes !Gotta love 'em.~Jo
Hope you got a picture of that one! haha.
lol does is job wellSure looks like it's swell
Helps out with the choresThis cat is the thing of lore.ha.

He would eat all the groceries, too!Thinks he's a human with his diet, it's true!
LOL!!!!! I was going to reference "Princess and the Pea", but something tells me he could sleep anywhere.
haha...yes, this prince can sleep anywhere...kind of like that tired dog on your post today....hahaha....
Oh and I meant to say you have a very pretty dining room.
Haha! And I felt just like that poor dog. Wonder if he ever gets cramps in his quads...HaHa!
haha...I don't know, but he sure looked all tuckered out!
He takes his job VERY seriously. I've said it before, I'll say it again, I want to bury my face in that soft, grey fur. Heaven.
His fur is amazing...so thick and dense. I always joke that he could never get fleas...they could never get through it to his skin! lol....
Someone has to keep them safe :)
and warm...and fuzzy...lol...
Everybody needs a grocery bag keeper.... Love it!!
He does crack me up...so entertaining! Kind of like Molly, right? :)
