I guess all good things must come to an end! Sweet picture.
haha....he fed her for so long, it was adorable. Ah well, he's probably leaving his socks on the floor now, too. lol....
Ha! That put a very funny picture in my head.
Oooooo - banana bread - yum! I love the smell almost more than the bread.
haven't made it in ages!
Cute comment! Typical male isn't he! Many species have something in common with us, don't they? Sweetest chipmunk drinking from my fountain this morning, and then he washed his face with his little hands. He moves so fast. I've named him Scooter. Lynne in NC
Oh, little Scooter sounds adorable! I'd love to see that. It's been a few years since we had a chipmunk here. We used to have one that sat in the bird feeder...that was in the years between pet cats. ha.
Boy that didn't take long. I could write a short story about our honeymoon.....looking back now it's hilarious...at the time not so much. But that was 54 years ago. Honeymoons are much different nowadays. We were trying to save money....HaHa. Maybe I'll post it on our anniversary in June.
We didn't have much of a honeymoon either....no money and we didn't have jobs. lol.....what were we thinking?
Oh Betsy...I'm laughing at your comment....but what is so funny, is I had decided to call the post about our honeymoon....What were we Thinking????? What do they say about great minds...haha.
Oh, that is hilarious! Yes, great minds! But you know you can't tell a young couple in love what to do...we thought we were indispensable and everything would be alright....and it was! We had nothing and were perfectly happy! :) Can't wait to read your post!
Great photo Betsy . . . . I think she got fed up with his cooking . . :)
Well, he's bringing her to the same restaurant. ha.
Yes indeed . . . . but she wants to see if there is anything else on the menu . . . :)
fish and chips, perhaps?
or battered sausages and chips . . . . .lol
I'm cracking up here. Ours lasted a bit longer than theirs. And more seriously, with my health issues from Lyme disease, I have come to appreciate the words, "in sickness and in health". 34 years and my husband is making dinner for me!
Well, Mr. Cardinal needs to take a lesson from your sweet hubby! :) How nice he's making dinner!
She looks pretty capable, but also a bit miffed. I guess the honeymoon is over!
She does, doesn't she? She's having a bad hair day, too....poor girl.
Ain't that just the way?ha ha!:0)
Absolutely! He must have gotten what he wanted...lol....
And now she's probably sitting on the nest.
Well, then I think he should be bringing her breakfast in bed! lol....
If he knows what's good for him!:0)
....and rubbing her feet. Yes, it's a win/win if he does! Can't he read her mind?? Geesh. lol....
Is she hoping the silent treatment helps? Should I tell her it doesn't? lol....
He needs to read my little book . . . . lolBut even that has not got all the answers . . . . you ladies are so complicated . . . lol . . . :)
haha wooed her to his sideGot what he wanted to swell his prideNow the chase is doneAway he'll run
Surely he's not a cad!I'll have to have a talk with that lad!
Pat is right, he got his 'onions'And now she's nursing bruised bunions . . . . . He wears a very cheeky smirkAnd now she thinks he is a jerk . . . . . . lol
lol a cheeky little birdDone saying a word
It could be said he's 'had his chips'Whatever sweet talking comes from his lips.Perhaps she'll love him again next yearWhen he makes his courtship intentions clear . . . lol
Oh lawd....she looks mad and he looks guilty or maybe henpecked. Lol! It's a gorgeous picture!
Maybe it's their first fight. I'm sure it's all his fault. lol....
At least they are still together. My wife and I never fight. She just explains to me why she is right and we move on from there. (;-0)
You're a wise man, Andy! :)
