Went to the other sea today For mother's day at my bay Haircut place not open on Sunday So pulled a 2 in one at play Easy peasy as can be The cats were happy they didn't have to go with me
Love, love the flowers, such detail ! I nominate you for Mother of the Year Award, always giving your best to others. Your family knows they are the luckiest in the world. A very Happy Mother's Day to you dear Betsy. ~Jo
What a lovely Mother's Day bouquet from your yard. Wishing you the best of Mother's Day. You are an awesome mom and an inspiration to me. So glad we are blog friends. Hugs and kisses.
How much time do you have? HaHaHa. I didn't plan on making it from scratch, and went to Target to pick up a marble cake mix, Nada. Went to Food 4 Less...Nada...Said I'm not driving any farther to find a marble cake mix. I'll buy a white and a chocolate and make my own. When I got home with the two cake mixes, I had the brilliant idea to make jumbo cup cakes...a doz. white with chocolate frosting, and a doz chocolate with cookies and cream white frosting......There they have "marble".....If I know my grandkids....they won't be disappointed and cupcakes are a lot easier to eat.
. . .and that Macro lens opens up all kinds of possibilities ~ love on he first shot the depth of focus highlighting a sharp foreground against an out of focus further away background. And love the detail you have captured. . . . :)
Happy Mother's Day, Betsy. I hope your men have something special planned for you! Your flowers, like all your pics are a joy. Thank you. I became a grandma for the first time 3 weeks ago. Mother's day is pretty special for us this year.
Happy Mother's Day to an amazing Mom. Your family is so fortunate to have you at the helm. Love the close-ups. I adore the purple pansy pusses! So sweet. xoxox

DeleteWhat are johnny jump ups? I keep reading about them all over.
ReplyDeleteThey are the little violas in the last picture. They can be solid blue, purple, yellow or any combination of those colors!
DeleteOh OK. What a great name. I wonder where it came from?
DeleteWe just call them violas.
