Here's my new solution to boys and pets who seem
to think I want to share my water glass with them!
It was on clearance because the handle had fallen off.
But I like it better that way...I mean, mason jars
don't really have handles anyway!
And since it holds 24 ounces, I don't have
to refill my glass as often!
♥
I love it.... I have a special glass and straw, and it helps me keep track of how much I'm drinking. You blue is just really pretty.
ReplyDeleteIt's just more fun to drink out of something pretty, isn't it? :)
DeleteFor all of you that NEED to be first.... I'm sorry....HaHa
ReplyDeletehaha...you don't sound TOO sorry! I've thrown them all off posting in the middle of the afternoon!
DeleteWanda -- You havin' a dig at me?
DeleteGreat colour - love the little rooster too.
ReplyDeleteyeah, I love the color!
DeleteIt occurs to me that perhaps this is not a rooster after all. Also, I love how your blue heart matches!
DeleteOn third thought... it is a rooster. I will stop commenting now. I have a head cold and it's affecting my brain - ha!
DeleteYeah, it's a rooster weather vane!
DeleteThat's cute! I love the color. If we're at a large family function and are using solo cups, my husband writes his name on his cup with a sharpie. Lol! Oh wait, they make mason jars with a little chalk board area. I could get him one of those and a box of chalk. Problem solved!
ReplyDeleteI've done the sharpie thing before!
DeleteWe have a place to eat where for years the water glass was a typical mason jar. No handles, just the jar. Now they have special drinks that will come in the jar. The lip of the jar really isn't that easy to drink from but a straw would help.
ReplyDeleteI've had that experience before...yes, a straw is a must!
DeleteDon't you think a bucket would be easier? They hold so much more Gin and Tonic than a Mason jar. Water? Your pulling my leg, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteIf you find me a really long straw, we could try a bucket!
DeletePull your leg? Would I do that to you on your birthday?
Yes! ha.
Great looking glass and eight a day indeed . . . make mine draught Guinness . . . . lol . . :)
ReplyDeleteSomehow drinking beer with straw seems all wrong.... ha.
DeleteYou wouldn't get any foam on your whiskers!
DeleteHaha . . . . we call the froth on the Guinness or beer a "Head" do you say "Foam"
DeleteAgree not usual to drink beer from a straw . . .
Love your jars ~ look really up market, but then you are an up market girl . . . :)
foam...head...yes, either. But since I'm not a beer drinker, what do I know? ha.
DeleteWe say 'up scale' :)
Interesting . . . . fascinating how we have f=different words/phrases for things . . . :)
Deleteme and my typos . . . lol
DeleteA bird on it fits right in
ReplyDeleteWith all at your bin
And nice and blue
Like the bottle I'm drinking from at my zoo
Mine holds 30oz's though lol
Drink at least 4 a day at my show
30 ounces you say?
DeleteYou get a work out lifting it at your bay!
That would make my arms tired and sore
as my hands have arthritis galore. ha.
It's so cute! I love the rooster on it!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect....meets all my needs..cute and functional. :)
DeleteA most pleasant colour, and it will be interesting to put drinks of many different shades inside it to see what colour appear behind that blue filter.
ReplyDeleteYeah...you're right! And golden ale would look green. It wouldn't be like St Patrick's Day all year round!
DeleteA great idea and it is a very pretty color too.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue mason jars..hard to find for me, but probably are everywhere...I just don't get out much! I have a bottle in the fridge that I try to finish every day..have started shooting the lemon juice in each drink and that helps.
