Crescent Moon

The moon above my home sweet home last night!
All those winds blew the clouds away and the stars were twinkling!

  4. An absolutely spiffing photo, old bean. Not really a night for a bombing raid over enemy territory, what?

    1. The sky was much too clear for a bomb raid!

  6. It never ceases to amaze me that the Earth's shadow forms a diameter exactly equally the diameter of the moon ~ and the earth's shadow exactly eclipses the sun . . . . too much of a coincidence to be mere coincidence . . . :)
    Lovely moon crescent shot . . :)

  8. Beautiful capture - so bright! Very dull and rainy for the last few days. Supposed to be a large Lyrid Meteor Shower tonight, apparently best viewed between 11 p.m. and sunrise. I haven't seen one in years.
