It never ceases to amaze me that the Earth's shadow forms a diameter exactly equally the diameter of the moon ~ and the earth's shadow exactly eclipses the sun . . . . too much of a coincidence to be mere coincidence . . . :) Lovely moon crescent shot . . :)
Beautiful capture - so bright! Very dull and rainy for the last few days. Supposed to be a large Lyrid Meteor Shower tonight, apparently best viewed between 11 p.m. and sunrise. I haven't seen one in years.
I missed this! Probably 'cause it was snowing! Geesh! Must have a look tonight.....which direction is it? Have a great day....cold here! Cheers! Linda :o)
So beautiful, Betsy! Great shot.
ReplyDeleteI haven't had to "work" for a wind-blown look lately either. hehee. blessings ~ tanna
You should see my hair right now! haha. I worked an auction today...semi-outside...I was in a barn but the big doors were open part of the time! ha.

We're cloudy tonight....no moon gazing for me!
DeleteAn absolutely spiffing photo, old bean. Not really a night for a bombing raid over enemy territory, what?
ReplyDeleteThe sky was much too clear for a bomb raid!
DeleteTonight would be perfect, though! ha.
