Mallory Park Racing Circuit is just a stones throw away from me, and the first race of the season is MG Car Club race series on Sunday 29th March. I'll be there!
Yep! He does have that look! He's the perfect cat, I'm telling you. I love how affectionate he is...just adorable. :) Hope you're doing well! You've been quiet!
I don't really know much about NASCAR...but I am surprised you are into it. Way to keep things interesting. :)
I thought about you yesterday while listening to my favorite morning show on the radio. Apparently Ohio is in 3rd place for the U.S. state with the most unhappy people. I kind of felt like emailing them your blog and saying "Really?? She appreciates every little thing that us NYers rush right past!!". Lol
Taylor started watching when he was about 2 or 3 years old and he and I got hooked on it and still are 20 years later!
Interesting about Ohio! I wonder why that is! haha...yes, point them to my blog and let me spread some sunshine! LOL! Incidentally, I read recently that Ohio is ranked #1 in cursing! So, there you go....bad moods and bad language. Geesh!
What a gorgeous fellow! So cuddly and sweet, and the almost-twin of our own Kitty-Dear who was ours for many years. Her eyes were an astonishing emerald green, and her fur exactly like his---you could squeeze your fingers through the velvety pile.
I love your co-driver!
ReplyDeleteIsn't he awesome? He's such a warm snuggler!
DeleteWere you watching the DAYTONA 500 then?
ReplyDeleteI absolutely was!
DeleteI just watched it on Amercan TV. It didn't say if anyone was injured in the 8 car pile up at the back. Never heard of Joey Logano before.

DeleteNobody was injured, no. Well, lucky you! That sounds like a lot of fun! Will you be racing or watching? haha.
DeleteWatching of course! I know where there is a hole in the hedge to get in without paying. Ha.
DeleteDon't forget your binoculars!
DeleteI spent a lot of time napping on the couch today. The cats declined to join me, preferring to cuddle up together.
ReplyDeleteSundays are made for couch time!
DeleteI thought of you today when some friends were talking about the race. I hope you enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly enjoyed!
DeleteGlad you enjoyed your NASCAR.
ReplyDeleteHow did Jeff Gordon fare? . . . . :)
He was on the pole, led a lot of the race, led the most laps but crashed on the last lap. Still very fun, though. :)
DeleteShame, but glad he was not injured and you enjoyed the race . . . . . . :)
Deleteand harvick came in second...
ReplyDeletethe only way it could have been better
is if he was first...what are you going to do
under caution though...
I didn't realize you were a Harvick fan!
DeleteNot sure I understand the appeal. lol.....bet you were happy last year!
Oh dear....I can almost hear him purr♥️
ReplyDeleteCheers!

Deleteand so very wise of you!
Racing does nothing for me.. I'd have been happy to settle in with the kitty though. Beautiful face.
ReplyDeleteThat's how I am with football. ha.
DeleteLord of the Manor! And that expression says he knows it. Regal personified. Lynne in NC

Hahaha at least you are a great representation for your people. :)
DeleteAre you saying I swear a lot? lol....
DeleteFuzzy cats love to find soft things to enjoy. I bet gray cat slept through the races.
ReplyDeleteYep...he was just there for the snuggles...not the race. ha.

Kitty-Dear...aw...what a sweet name. Yes, Slate's fur is just like that...amazing...none of my other cats have fur that feels like his!
DeleteSo who won anyway? I missed the end and haven't bothered to look it up.
