  2. Great shot- they look like they are on lookout, for sure. I have a group of sparrows that sit like this on the old scrub from my rock garden...in the summer they hide in it.

    1. Oh, how fun that they hide in your rock garden in the summer! Mine are usually in the tree with the feeder. They must have been enjoying the warm sun this day.

  5. Those little RAK's that arise during the week are almost forgotten unless I actually purpose to remember. I guess that's kind of like not letting your left hand know what your right hand is dong. Maybe.

    "My " birds do that too. They like to sit on the little branches that stick out of the bushes outside Mom's window. (That's always going to be "Grandma's room" now.
