- Tequila Lime Chicken Wings (Tyson) and a clean-out-the-fridge salad.
- The twins, Cinder and Shadow. Sometimes, it really is hard to tell who is who. ...mostly, we go by personality.
- The Mister's tea drawer. It's conveniently located near the Zojirushi. What a spoiled man! ha.
- A tropical breakfast...fresh pineapple on coconut Greek yogurt.
- Mr. Cardinal.
- Domino, in the coveted 'basket with a view' on my kitchen desk. When my laptop is open, it's a very secluded spot.

Yummy! The first and fourth photos, that is. I won't eat the cats! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd of course the Cardinal is lovely too! I took a photo of one today as well. I have one around that seems to glow, I think he's more than a Cardinal. ha
Eating cat is not allowed here. haha.
DeleteHope you posted your glowing cardinal...I'll come see!
I love Domino's shot!! look lovely!
ReplyDeleteI have my tea bags like the Mister only is a little Box:))
Domino was certainly enjoying that nap!
DeleteStunning photos Betsy ~ that Cardinal one is superb . . . .and cute one of Domino.
ReplyDeleteFood looks delicious ~ I've just boarded a plane . . . . :)
A plane? Shall I pick you up at the airport? :)
DeleteRelax Betsy, he's got no chance, the Immigration Dept are a bit fussy about who they let in to the US of A.
DeleteI bet he doesn't even have a passport. What do you think? Was he kidding me? :)
DeleteOh . . . . I have a passport ok . . . . . but Keith is wrong. I am a highly desirable asset to any country . . . . I have to say that because no-one else will . . . . rofl. So yes please, pick me up at the airport . . . . lol . . . . . :)
DeleteI think if that Cardinal gets any better it might be promoted to Pope . . . . . lol
Alright...I'll be there. I'll be the girl with the red wellies. ha.
DeleteAh . . . . . you mean the passion killers . .. .. rofl
DeleteCome in high heels . . . . rofl
DeleteHow about I let you walk, hmm? Lol...
Deletethe cats eyes are amazing!! I would love love a tea drawer just like that!
ReplyDeleteAren't they? They do glow against that black fur!
DeleteI like the two black cats, you should have given them the same name, like "Snowy", then when you call them you can be sure you get the right one. Ha. Tell me, does The Mister ever drink REAL tea? Here, those fancy flavoured teas are mainly drunk by "Ladies who Lunch", not "Road Menders on Tea Break". *
ReplyDeleteNo, he drinks sissy tea....all green or red. He doesn't do caffeine, so no black tea for him.
DeleteLove your photos. Domino sleeps exactly like our Joe.
ReplyDeleteDon't they look alike? Amazing.
DeleteI get such a joy out of your This and That posts. It's so fun to take a peek in the Mister's Tea Drawer. What a nice selection. Does he not drink coffee? Cinder and Shadow are so cute...talk about twins. Are they from the same litter? Is Domino the only one that get's that special basket? The dinner looks so good. I've been running around all day. Picked up my car this morning, visiting Elizabeth, stopped and saw Julie, the thrift store, and lots of traffic on the way home....so my dearest is taking me out for a nice salad tonight. If I had all the fixings, I'd make one at home.
ReplyDeleteyes, twins..boys from the same litter! Look just like their mama Velvet, too.
DeleteEnjoy dinner out! Yum. Nothing better than not fixing or doing the dishes!
haha they both stare at you the same way
ReplyDeleteLike wtf is going on today
That basket is the perfect spot
Just right to fit one of the lot
Captured them with the same expression.
DeleteYou guess what they were thinking, I'm guessing.
There's always a little contest to see who gets the basket, too.
When one steps out to get a bite to eat,
another jumps in, quick as a wink!
The tea drawer is so organized. He is spoiled!
ReplyDeleteI love the pic of Domino - such a happy kitty!
The kitchen is still organized from the reno. I wonder what it will look like in a year. haha.
DeleteAnd yes, he is spoiled! I tell him that ALL the time!
Vanilla Caramel Truffle Tea! Oh my. Love his tea drawer - I need one of those.
ReplyDeleteI adore upside-down Domino - what a comfy looking spot.
Pretty bowl that you have your tropical treat in - and the treat looks good too!
Love the two black kitties - they look like twin shadows.
And glorious Mr. Cardinal - could he be more red?
Feathers, Fur, Food, Fun!
Domino has come a loooong way. He is SO shy,...took him a year just to come inside off the back porch.
DeleteReally? You would never know - he is so relaxed! You have such patience with them and they eventually come 'round. Aw.
DeleteI know...it really is something, considering he was part of Velvets first litter here. His siblings weren't like that. He such a timid thing!
DeleteI guess he takes after his mama. And she seems to be gradually letting her guard down too. I love how you said one hops in that basket as soon as another leaves. Too funny. Makes them think twice about getting a bite to eat!
DeleteI always wanted to have twins! They're adorable by the way.
ReplyDeleteI love cats, They're my favorite unless I need some protection in the orchard. Ha ha!
My cardinals and bluejays are still absent this year. Yours is gorgeous.
Cocoa would be good protection. He's like a guard dog. haha.
DeleteAww you take the cutest kitty shots.
ReplyDeleteWell, there are lots of opportunities for that here. Lol....
DeleteYou've got yourself a photographer's eye.
ReplyDeleteWell, thanks, Ivy!
DeleteI callzz them and I seezzz them.
DeleteBeautiful captures, Betsy... they convey a warmth and appreciation for life and the blessings that surround you. I love that. =) t.
ReplyDeleteThanks, tanna...I love the way you worded that. :)
DeleteNice array of pictures. I was getting hungry looking at the wings and was surprised when I read the captions to find that they were a Tyson product and not your own creation.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to kill my own cold. Taking Airborne and vitamin C... let me know if you have any good remedies.
I do have a good remedy. I'll do a post on it. It's liquid silver. Not well known but really great.
DeleteThe wings are great.....I highly recommend them! They are in the frozen chicken section and you just bake them 20 minutes...crispy and meaty. Yum.
DeleteMorning Betsy.....
ReplyDeleteI love the sleeping cat in the basket!
Oh....and the twins....and...of course....Mr Cardinal!
You gotta love a Man who loves his Tea! And....so tidy too!
Enjoy your day....
Starting out darn cloudy here....
Cheers!
Linda :o)
Haven't had the new kitchen long enough for the drawers to get un-tidy! ha.
DeleteCloudy here, too...very grey. Good day to stay inside!
He has a tea drawer?! I love that. You should post that on pintrest or something. You would definitely inspire people. :)
ReplyDeleteYes...spoiled guy. haha. It's more organized than his old canister and it doesn't have to be out on the counter. I'm liking it!
Deletethat salad looks awesome. you have better stuff when you clean out your fridge than I start with! Taria
ReplyDeleteJust buy some dried cranberries and avocados and keep frozen peas on hand and you'll be set! ha.
DeleteI bought a Do-it-Yourself kit today for making brownies, then I suddenly realised when I got back that I don't have a square baking pan! So they will have to wait until I go to the shops and buy a cake tin. Silly me!
ReplyDeleteMake sure you follow the directions carefully....brownies don't look done when you take them out of the oven, but they set up as they cool. Make sure you bake them for the time they say to. Good luck! And..what a nice excuse to buy another kitchen gadget. :)
